Aw that sucks, I can imagine how it must feel to see a villager you really care about just leave without you being able to do anything about it.
A word of advice - when this game screws me over, as it does to all of us from time to time, I turn it off and remember that it's just that, a game. They're just pixels on a screen. Trust me, thinking like this after something bad happens helps a lot.
I know how you feel, i turnt mine on this morning to discover that Chrissy was boxes ready to go i was gutted, not only is she one of my remaining originals but she also became my dreamy.
Weird thing is when she mentioned moving a few days ago i told her to stay and she agreed. She never mentioned moving again and none of my other villagers mentioned it in convo like they have done with other villagers.
Chrissy has now gone and iv got Rhonda as a random move in.
I will definately be keeping a close eye on my villagers from now on especially my favourite ones.
Aw my dear, I sympathize with you ;_; I hope you feel better soon, fellow animal crossing player! If I had Papi in my village I'd trade him because of you and your troubles ;_;
(You're definitely not alone in the aspect that you've cried over video games, if that helps. I've been there many times myself !)
I also forgot/overlooked 6 villager birthdays last year so I know that regret...in a terrible way...ouchie...
I reacted the same way when the exact same thing happened to me, only with Julian. Julian is kinda like my in-game avatar of my former best friend, who died in a car crash. He was gay and had sparkling blue eyes, so his nickname was "Blunicorn". And then he just was in boxes without any warning one day.
Screw Nintendo for making that the point of no return. It's a horrible game mechanic and shows just how little they seem to care about their gamers' satisfaction.
I'd feel pretty sad if Apple left. She's mah BFF sometimes I just log on with the sole intent of making sure to give her attention and check to make sure she isn't leaving. Lol...
That happens to me alot, especially when I'm sleepy. But nothing ever happens such as a villager moving, as only 1 of my villagers have moved because I wanted her to.
And not to be a, how to say..., Grammar Nazi?, but its 3DS not a DS. It just really irks me when people called system from the 3DS Family a DS...
