I already made threads about not having time to play ACNL? Well, this morning my worst nightmare regarding my play time came true.

This morning, at around 6:20am, I went on Animal Crossing before school (which I ended up not attending today for several reasons). I loaded up the game, and I thought "maybe I'll take the time back two days to make up for not playing," which I assumed was enough although I didn't know how much I'd not played. Anyway, I forgot.

I clicked my mayor character and forgot to change the time. And Isabelle pauses.

One of our residents, Papi, is leaving tomorrow.

I wish I'd have done something to prevent it.

I'm probably being dramatic, I know, but this morning was just awful and I'm going to miss Papi so much. He's one of the ones I actually spoke to when I came on for a check-up… Why did he have to move… I'm just glad it wasn't Kid Cat or Molly.

UGH thank you so much ;c I feel so dramatic now.

I actually have a phobia of the dark, so I usually sleep with my laptop or television on. I haven't got a television anymore as it broke, so I've been relying on my laptop light. However it was morning by the time I got to so sleep, so I didn't sleep with it on. Sometimes I don't turn one on at all. But yeah, that's when I usually get nightmares. Coincidentally about the dark.

I'm not going to cycle. I don't have the energy. It was the same when I lost Zell through TT'ing. I'll never do anything like that again. However I'm kind of happy because I think I've cycled enough for Colton. So at least Victoria won't be alone.

Aaand I am. Which is why I'd never risk it. I'm just gonna try and see if I can get Colton back. To be honest, I don't think it could've been anyone better than Papi. I had two lazies anyway, and I wanted Colton but couldn't decide who to get rid of. It's kind of like the game's decided for me, so I don't mind. I'm just gonna miss him, that's all.

I've read some hiatus guides though, and basically, whenever you want to take a break all you need to do is prevent the next person from moving - then you can just shut off the game for as long as you want and no one will move out in the meantime.

That'd be a HUGE relief knowing nobody would move. I'm going to try and focus some more attention on the game anyway, but I'd feel way less guilty then. Thank you.

Because I never had this done to me.

But I CAN remorse.

Starting over on an AC without Rasher. Saddest moment of my life. Because I couldn't move fro AC:WW I think into AC:NL. And I love me a Rasher. But now the hamsters are filling that hole in my heart.

Regardless, I know what it's like to have nightmares over something that, may feel miniscule to others, is totally tragic to us. And, trust me, I do know. ._. People don't understand that emotions aren't to be trifled with sometimes, and that, when it affects someone so critically, even the slightest thing, can cause a dilemma.

But hopefully you get Papi back. If he ever comes to my village, I'll ignore him til he wants to move, and send him your way.

I lost Stinky through a TT mistake (I waited until a fishing tourney to check up on villagers moving but realised only after I moved a day forward that they don't ping during tourneys) :< He was my last original villager and I was super sad. I think I was even more sad when no one wanted him when I put him up for a giveaway LOL. Poor Stinky.. he was my favourite. Hopefully I'll see him on mainstreet soon. <3

I'd hate to lose my originals. That would've been my worst. Freckles and Kid Cat are my last two originals and my favourites in town. I'm not sure what to do with Papi. I'd give him to my sister but she doesn't play anymore and would probably lose him from not playing also. And yeah, I'm glad I'll see him again on main street. Seeing Colton on there made me want him back recently anyway.

that happened to me, i TT one day and my Papi left me- i was super sad. I had like this inside joke with myself (hehe) about him and when he moved i couldn't play for a day... i luckly have cycled out for him though so maybe i can get him back one day (can i make any offers???)

Hope you're feeling better, I was quite upset when Chief left my WW town years and years ago when I didn't play one day (dang exams!)

Hope you can get Papi back! These games seem to know exactly which villager you'd like the least to move out then sneaks them out ..

I'm so sorry! (((HUGS))) I'm not the veteran you all are, but I still have my villagers that I love. I would be devastated to lose some of them. I know cycling is long and difficult, but you'll have eyes here who will help you out.

I'm so sorry you got this awful news on top of everything else today.

On the upside, you didn't lose your others you love and you can someday get Papi back, and probably in the not too distant future.

I lost Pate because I didn't pay attention to my villagers, and I actually missed Velma's birthday. (I have mail problems, so that's why I didn't know about it) I kinda wish I checked the bulletin board on that day so I wouldn't have missed her birthday.

Also, don't stress too much about it! You can cycle out villagers and after 10-16 other villagers have moved out you can get him back <3

I've had this before.. In City Folk, one of my beloved villagers Rod, left me when I was gone for a week. When I figured that out, I cried for an hour and a half. I really hope you get Papi back!!
