My game cartridge popped out my 3DS somewhere and I lost my whole village. I had to buy a new cartridge and start again. I have 9 villagers and a campsite. The only type I do not have is uchi. Today a villager showed up in the tent. The only type I do not have is uchi. Twiggy showed up today and he is peppy. If I say yes to him moving in I will have no uchi to request pwp's that I want. With my first village, I knew nothing about personalities and it all just balanced out so that I had one of each type. Should I wait for a uchi personality in my campsite?

I'm pretty sure it's a she since peppy's can only be female. Also as Vizionari said you should have an uchi for PWP... later along the lines if you decide you don't want an uchi and have all thier PWP's then you can get someone else. For me once I got all jock's PWPs I ditched stinky.

LOL. You are right. Twiggy is a female. Since this is a restart, my town is very young and I have had 2 or 3 pwp's suggested so far. In my old town, I had them all. Well, I guess I will wait for a uchi then because I for sure want some of the uchi pwp's again. I have two lazy and two cranky. One of each could move on later, too.

I had better say no to Twiggy then as I want the wisteria trellis again for sure and I think that one was suggested by a uchi villager. I need to be careful. I said no to Gaston, but played a lot of games with him to make up lost items. Then he asked if my town was a nice place or something like that. I said "yes" and he said he'd stay then. He tricked me. LOL But he's kinda fun.
I'd suggest you get a uchi, I really love their personality, and I was missing one for a while, and now that I have one I think my town's a bit more lively lol
You could always just adopt a uchi from the villager trade forums here and then move them out after you get all the PWPs you want if you don't like them...? Suggesting this because you might get a random 10th move-in from streetpass or from wifi-ing with other people that might not necessarily be a uchi while you're at 9 villagers.

Maybe you could watch the villager trade plaza too, for someone giving an uchi away that you like? I for one barely get campers and I couldn't wait if I were in your shoes *impatient* Uchi is probably my favorite female villager personality - they have the sass of a snooty but the caring nature of a normal. I've got Shari in my town and she's just adorable!
Oh my! I never thought on the streetpass issue. I rarely get a streetpass, but I actually think my 7th villager was from one of my three streetpasses in my new village. I don't have a lot of bells due to having to start a whole new game, but I am not that picky about villagers. There are some that are dreamies, but I am also okay with almost any character that shows up. I did not know you could choose villagers while building up my first town, so just enjoyed the ones I had. I would not need to buy a very popular one. I do like uchi's so would probably keep that one and then let an extra lazy one go if I wanted a new villager.

I looked up Shari and she is indeed cute. I had Fuchsia in my old town and liked her, however I want different villagers this time as it would not feel right to have the ones that belonged to my old town somehow. The uchi sheep are cute, too. I have one sheep so far in my new town - Pietro. He's helping me get over missing Lionel in my old village who was my absolute favourite. They are both smug I think. Anyway, I will for sure check out that board.
