Definitely Beardo. I cannot relate to any of the negative things that has been said about him. He looks like such a gentleman and his design is so cool.
And to a lesser degree, Peggy. I can see why some might think that she looks dull, and I did too at first, but after I had adjusted to her, I started to think that she was really cute.
I have a hard time wrapping my head around Julian's popularity. I get the unicorn part, and that's cool, but I don't think his design is that well done. Maybe I just don't like his colours.

Pietro, but he's got a love/hate fanbase, so not sure if he counts.
All of the villagers I like that no one else does don't get flack, they just aren't noticed. They're not universally ugly like Barold or Tabby, just kinda there. Examples would be Hugh, Elvis, Pinky, and the like.

Oh yeah, Tabby! I adore Tabby. I was surprised to find out how hated she is, because I've always thought that she was one of the coolest villagers.

I realy love Jambette, Diva & Giggles. I guess i just love all frogs. Tabby, Bertha & Pate are kinda cute too 
There are only 2 villager where i dont get the hype.. one is Maple and the other one i Beau. Why they? They just look ultimative boring to me

I don't think anyone in general HATES Bertha, but she is clumped in with all of the hideous hippos a lot of the time. Bertha is really cute imo. Considering she is a hippo, I think the designers did a great job with her. Bubbles is cute to me too. She was in my town towards the beginning, and besides Walker, she's the one I miss the most. I wish I would've waited until I obtained her picture to let her go. I may try to get her back later.
I've seen people call Rodeo an ugly demon bull. I think he's a cutie also. His red eyes do give off that effect, but if you talk to him, his lazy personality shines over that. He's adorable.
On the topic of bulls...COACH! I loved having Coach in my town. I refused to let him go sooo many times. He's gone now, but he was a lot of fun. I liked his eyebrows because they made him super expressive...and he was just cool in general.
Then just a list to sound off the rest that I wish had more love: Vladimir, Tammi, Joey, Quillson, Peewee, Boone, and the ultimate cranky cutie RIZZO!

A-Anicotti ;u; I really adore her, she's totally my bestie and I think she's absolutely adorable! I might be biased since mouse is my favorite animal, but I have seen several other mice villagers (Penelope, Dora, Brocollo, Rod) and to me Anicotti got the cutest smile.

Hippeux! People say he sucks but I don't think he's all that bad. If I had room, I'd keep him. Hippos in general seem to be hated though. I like him, but I like Rocco more. XD
Katt is another one. I'll admit she scared me when she first moved in. However, as I got to know her, she's such a sweetheart and I was very sad when I decided to give her up. Like with Hippeux, I like her a lot but not enough to be a dreamie in my 2nd town.

i've seen people complain about stinky. i love him. i got him from a tumblr user and he'll be in my town forever.
