#1 Mistake?

Everyone makes mistakes. Heck, I make loads of them.. But what is the number 1 mistake you've made in New Leaf? I know it'd be hard, but you have to pick only one. ONLYYY ONE.

I have to say Time Travelling too far and losing Merengue. I thought Time Travelling would be harmless.. Skipping a whole year... I was wrong. DONT DO IT KIDS!

My biggest mistake...

In my first town, I opted out to participate in the Caf? ceremony. I had to do so because Isabelle wouldn't let me host it on the day it was built or on the day after it was built. Because it was two days late, I had to cancel it, but I completely regret it. Anyway, that town was deleted, and I learned my lesson to not complete a PWP on the day before a holiday.

Putting my house in the southern half of town since it was next to Town Hall- I thought I'd be spending a lot of time there, turns out after the first month, I hardly go there anymore. I think the last time was about 6 months ago now!

Putting in the Resetti Center in not only a really stupid spot, but in my town at all.

one time i wore a crown on halloween and lost rock-paper-sissors to a villager and they replaced my crown with a moldy hat. i reset immediately tho ahahhahah

My biggest mistake so far is letting my little sister play on my town for hours. ; - ;
She managed to TT to 2016 and Beau left... Knowing the fact that Beau was one of my favourite villagers,
she couldn't stop crying and felt terrible for her mistake. Now I don't let anyone touch my DS. xD
I'm going to try to get him back during the summer time when I'm more free to play ACNL.

I think my biggest mistake so far was choosing my town map so quickly as I was eager to start the game.
It's functional, but it's not perfect (to me atleast). I've been thinking of resetting, but I can deal with it for awhile

I can agree with those who have posted that they've reset their town too much. I have reset so many times it isn't funny. I think I might stick with this one for a while, because one I like the layout, and two I have waaay too much done to let it slip through my fingers. Come to think of it, this is the most developed I have ever had in AC:NL. Not too mention, I hate having to plan out the perfect town all over again. Way too much work. (Note: I will more than likely say this, and you will see me in the forums talking about how I have spent 5+ hours with Rover map resetting and town resetting.)

Accidentally doing the plot reset trick wrong the first few times...when I loaded up, my Dreamies wounded up in terrible, terrible places...

my biggest mistake was when I demolished an old bridge because Freya plot her house too close to it, I couldn't put back the bridge anywhere because for some reason my villagers have their houses near the river (you can't build a bridge when a house a near) which forced me to build the bridge very close to another bridge which made the town look stupid and ugly and I can't do anything to fix it :/

basically the placements of the permanent projects... I was dumb when I started out so I didn't bother thinking about how I'll landscape my town so I just placed them anywhere without thinking T__T

but probably the one I regret most is my campsite!! its place is so terrible omg

Restarting my first town. I'm no where near as attached to my new one, and I got a new copy of ACNL a week later anyway -.-
I should have just left my first town as it was...

My biggest mistake. Merengue was leaving my alt town, and I hadn't cycled Enough to get her back in my main town. Isabelle normally tells you the midnight before they were in boxes. It was 5am so I assumed she wouldn't be in boxes yet. Then it was 6am and she was gone I payed 1000tbt for her in September. Oh well at least she stuck around for as long as she did

Like loads, restetting. Someone asked me to reset together, I wasn't really planning on resetting since I just paid my cafe and I was really excited for it! But he convinced me to do it. Well, the first week in my new town I was so bumped out that I deleted it. I got over it, but it still sucks.
