1.1 million HHA points from only one room! So happy! :D

Ohey guys, so I know the title of the thread makes it sound like a blog entry, and it kinda is, but I just hit 1.1 million HHA points with only renovating one room to suit a theme, and also doing the exterior

I thought I'd help you guys out too, so here ya' go..

Choose whichever room's your biggest, or whichever suits you if you have a fully extended house.. (Do NOT use the basement, and this does not get rated)

Then, fill the entire room with 48 items that are with that theme.. You can use http://moridb.com to help you pick out some furniture.. The astro, sleek, minimalist and gorgeous sets are all trendy for example.. And just fill it with lots of items, having wall items is good too, particularly music albums

Then just change your house exterior to match that theme, you can use http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/House_Customization to help out with that

But yeah, I thought I'd do this 'cos it saves you having to screw around with your other rooms too much

Although I think they are using the direct translation to English not what the games uses.

That is helpful, thanks! I want to keep mayor's house just one room because I like how the exterior looks that way, but wanted to get at least a bronze HHA badge for it and I was thinking I wouldn't be able to.

And yes, Stylish does seem to equal Trendy.
Also, the site you linked is a lot more complete.

As for my HHA Score I've been around 900k with Sci-Fi theme, but as it turns out, most of what I've used counts as Sci-Fi & Trendy.
I'm going to switch to Trendy & see if I can get a higher score.
