Pietro has invaded my town.

So Marshal was moving out today and I was so excited because a spot would be open for me to invite Shari into town. But to my surprise, Pietro the clown sheep (from my bf's town) has plopped his ugly house in the same spot as Marshal's. Why. Whyyyyyyy? Tell me why!!! My bf's spot pass is off and I made sure not to play with him yesterday.. What is the timeline for when villagers can be picked up from a void?? I thought it was from when there was a villager in boxes to when there was an empty spot.. I must have picked him up days ago! Since I haven't gone over to my boyfriend's town in close to a week! I'm so mad.. This is the second time a void move in has ruined my plans. I wanted to be able to finish my town by the time the cherry blossoms came.. Now I'm definitely not going to be ready by then. No, I will not time travel. Someone just please tell me how void move ins work please!

How could anyone even notice Pietro? He blends in so well with everything.

The amount of sarcastic comments on this thread is amusing.

i tend to think that void move ins are sorta like stored buffer material. so you've got a buffer that keeps villagers until its cleared by going to someone with 10 villagers ans no recent moveouts. but this villager can stay in a void buffer for like 2 weeks? that's the longest i've had and accidentally given to someone else who visited.

i do wonder if it has anything to do with who is shown on main street too. bc i know that villagers you adopt out don't show up there, but if they are put to void by another person, they come back to you.

I dont take my ds out just so I won't street pass anyone. My bf lives with me and I turned off his spot pass, so I didn't really have to turn mine off too. I just went over to his town about a week ago to pick something up. I must have gotten Pietro at that time. I think from now on I just will not play online again.

The void so something I hate with a passion.
Try communicating with Pietro, when villagers are usually in a higher friendship, they are more likely to move.
Void move-ins are random,unfortunately can't be controlled.

But since he is the last one to move in, he isn't going to be the next to move out. :'(

I kind of really hate that they extended the moving out period to 10 days instead of the 7 days from before the update. It's much too long to wait!
