How To: Do the 16-villager Cycle Quickly

This looks like a good guide. I'll add it to my list of guides. I'd change the "If the mover is undesired" title to something a little more clear since undesired implies that you don't want the villager which means you want the villager to move which is the opposite of what you are trying to say. I'd change it to something like "If you want the mover to move out" and change the other title to "If you want the mover to stay in your town".

Hey, I've read through it a few times, I agree the 2 days forward and back method is not effective and you actually risk losing a dreamie that way.
This looks like something I could try, I do 4 days forward and back to make sure I catch them long before they go into boxes.
Will give it a go in my cycling town. Thanks for the idea :)

I followed your suggested 4 days, and it seems to work. I've been reading and there have been other suggestions for 2, 4 and now 7 days TT. Would love to hear your results after you tried this 7 day TT method.

Once you have a mover

IF THE MOVER IS WANTED TO LEAVE:
DO NOT talk to the mover, and if they ping you, walk away. Ignore them, and TT 7 days. This will always either be the day they’re in boxes, or their house will already be gone, because the game only gives them a 7-day-or-less period for moving once the mover is chosen.

--- IF YOU NEED SPACE FOR A DREAMY/ WANT TO RESET FOR A DREAMY
If this brings you down to 8 villagers, DO NOT TT any farther, or you risk getting another unwanted villager. Either pick up a dreamy from a friend or cycler, or use the 3DS clock to TT and reset for plots until you get a desired villager. :)

So just to clarify: if the mover is someone you don't want and you TT 7 days, they should be out. Does this mean, there is a potential mover on this 7th day? So I guess I should investigate in case a dreamy wants to leave?

From my understanding of what you wrote, it seems like there's a (actual or intending) mover every 7 days, from the first time a mover pings you telling you they want to move. Is this correct?

I'm being really careful because I don't want to lose a dreamy, lols. Thanks.
