The Punctuation Thread

Let us all take a moment here to appreciate punctuation, period. (I am a riot!) Where would we be without it? We would be eating grandma (instead of eating, grandma). We would be no better off than the savages that once populated this world. I think that it is what sets us apart from the primates. Not our vastly superior intellect (because let's face it, some of the people in this world are not all that smart), nor our opposable thumbs. No, it is the fact that we use punctuation. You can always tell who is full evolved and who is not fully evolved by their use of punctuation.

You know it would be humorously ironic if there was a punctuation error somewhere in here.

I'm honestly confused, but I guess we can talk about how nice punctuation is.

I love punctuation.

Punctuation is great though I rarely use it to its fullest. I do appreciate when people speak in full sentences.

is yu saygn im dum? Seriously though, I know plenty of people that do not use punctuation, but are capable of it. I don't think I use it 100% correctly. >_>

You don't. You didn't need a comma after 'punctuation'. You'd only put a comma after it if the word after 'but' was a noun. It's okay though, I usually make that error when I type and just hate to backspace, so I just leave it.

Lol. I was thinking exactly what you said about "but", and I didn't know if I needed a comma or not... So yeah. I usually put whatever I think looks good. As long as my posts are understandable!
