Attractions where you Live

You guys all live in awesome places :P I mean, Grand Canyon, Disney World, wow. I can't compete, but tourism is supposedly important to our slowly dying economy and its all kicked off in the past 5-10 years. So allow me to briefly make the case for Belfast, Northern Ireland, which must have some of the worst 'tourist attractions' ever:

Famous for building a ship that sank (you can find out all about it in the swanky new Titanic Quarter):

Also famous for unrest during The Troubles. You can genuinely go on a tour of the murals, although I don't know why you would do this as a 'fun tourist activity':

There's also the Giant's Causeway which is quite famous, about 1 hours drive away.

Maybe I'm being too harsh because I live here, and I suppose it is good if you're interested in the history. Still, when I see tourists here, I react with confusion. Why have you come here :P? It's cold, raining, and tours of the city focus on depressing aspects of our history when we have so much more to offer. You're better off in the pub - good craic and you can enjoy a pint of Guinness or a swig of our own Bushmills whiskey, like us locals do :D
Oh, and the population of the entire country is so small - I'm the only Animal Crossing fan here (probably) :P

All your places are so cool :0
There's more stuff in St. Louis than I usually give it credit for.
I actually don't live in St. Louis. It's about 20-30 minutes from where I live, but that's close enough for me. There's not much outside of St. Louis xD

I don't think there is really much, but around where I live.

I live near the world famous JoJo's Pretzels.

Oh, and there's also Notre Dame and the College Football Hall Of Fame, but I try to forget about those. ;)

I live in Greater London, so there's plenty of attractions around. It's always nice to go to Covent Garden for shopping

Oh and lots of kathoeys. (Google it.)

I live in NYC so there are quite a lot of attractions around here. :) Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State Building.. I could go on forever and include pictures but most of you have probably at least heard of those.

I live in Central Maine. We have NOTHING for miles. The closest amusement part is 2.5 hours away and that only has three major rides worth traveling for. It sucks. ):

Only attraction where I live is that it is relatively easy to get to London.

Oh and there's a milshake shop nearby.

What the locals consider "attractions" of this town are just bars and gas stations that don't card young people for alcohol purchases. LOL! I'd say the closest thing to a nice attraction I live relatively close to is De Soto caverns. But that's even about 30 min away... Pretty much the main reason I always can't wait to go visit family in Atlanta! And that city isn't even that exciting...

I'm near New York, Philadelphia, Cape May (and Wildwood), and my favorite: Six Flags: Great Adventure.
Well it takes an hour to get to some, but they're still in driving distance!

I live in Dallas, TX so there's pretty much everything I need to do around. The Perot Museum downtown recently opened and it's so awesome.

Currently I live in Cleveland, Ohio.

We have the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We have a fantastic Science Center. Our Zoo is top notch. We have Cedar Point not that far away (Which has 17+ coasters or so, I forget the number now, I know they've added since, and usually they break a record with the new one. (Top Thrill Dragster!!!! 120 MPH in 4 seconds at 420 foot drop at a straight down incline... SWEET!))

But, I'm about to move to the center of TX. Not THAT far from quite a few things. I know the wife has the next few years planned with tons of attractions to show me.

oh! I used to live really close to Ted's Hot Dogs, which is pretty darn famous for their really good hot dogs and burgers. They only have restaurants in New York and Arizona. If any of you ever come across one, make sure to eat there because it's probably the best tasting fast food you'll ever come by.

I live about an hour away from Manhattan, so I'd say that's pretty much all you need to know. It's an attraction with several smaller attractions inside of it.
