Ok. XD And as for the villagers, I'm actually pretty satisfied with what just happened:
I time travelled to the next day, trying to get Skye to want to move, and I'm still having the "a villager moves in every other day" thing.
So I get on, and thankfully, the new house isn't right up against mine. It's within view distance, but a nice way back.
I walk up to the sign and press A, and then ultimate squee of all squees occurs.
