I love these theories! I wish they could have actual NPC's for our Moms and Dads but I feel like if the implemented that, they would feel stale and disconnected. The letters are much more personal in my opinion. They did a really good job on making it feel real.
One thing I want added is for the player to be able to ask the villagers questions instead of the simple:
"I wanted to talk"
or
"Just saying hi"
Two options is not enough interaction between the villagers and me. It makes the game feel like a game and I never really get attached to the...
My main town is like a typical town/neighborhood style. To explain that better, it has a park, a forest for the campsite and just the main buildings together.
My second town is fairytale themed! My mayor in that town is the king. :P
If you have multiple characters in your town, introduce your mayor to the villager you want out but don't introduce your other characters to them. I found it works easiest for me that way. I just started my town two weeks ago and two people have already asked to move out. :)

-I like large open areas without many buildings
-I don't like the river to take up too much space in the map

Usually I have music playing in each room of my house. I'll only keep a gyroid if they sound harmonious with the track in that specific room. Other than that I just sell it. They're not much use to me.
