The Mahi Mahi took FOREVER for me too, I have never had so much trouble trying to catch a fish in AC. I was crafting 10-40 pieces of bait each day over like 10 days. I finally dedicated an entire Saturday to JUST get this fish, and I got it in the last 10 minutes before I went to bed. Spawn...
@wasabigirl Her name is Snooty, she's a purple anteater with a Japanese style home. I know the name is confusing, she's also a snooty personality

Sorry for the late reply!! 😰 😰 I was watching for a notification didn't get one for some...
I guess I've never really felt like my level of friendship changed before NH, animals always seemed as friendly on day 1 as day 100. I found almost all of the rude dialog hilarious and Resetti was my favorite but I've never enjoyed the talk limit. Characters have gotten less cranky/snooty but to...
I am curious, when was the last time you played either game?
I tried to start a WW town a few months before release and it was the villager interactions specifically that made me stop playing. I got most of the same lines of dialog every day for a week or two. I don't remember it being like...
Not today, but things I was surprised to learn:
The Australopith is possibly haunted? It's eyes will glow at night
Animals will always give you a return gift for wrapped foreign fruit
When you send out letters it can take animals two days to respond
If you talk to an animal around their...
I was going for a foresty town too. I was in the middle of taking as many pine trees I could carry from the Nook islands for easy planting and was very surprised to get told I there were already too many. I wanted to add more! And my nook mile goals ask for several trees every day
Glad to know...
Did you guys have your game set to real time when you downloaded the update and loaded up to play? Since events are supposed to be triggered in real time now, the event may have gotten confused when the date didn't match the event trigger. I know the game normally can't tell when you TT forward...
That's an interesting article! Though he goes off in some weird directions, and I think most of these criticisms would apply much better to the online economy (which he doesn't even mention) than anything ingame.
And yeah, KK's dialog is so cheesy that it always felt like he trying really hard...
@kenncann
In my experience twigs can fall further from the tree than other items. I've had coins and things disappear and then have a twig bounce to a further square. In fact I don't think I've ever seen an item bounce
Try to have at least one empty square for each tree. I don't think items...
I've always been kind of ambivalent to him, but I've never disliked him. I remember being really surprised people hated him on the internet as a kid
For me he's just lacking interesting character traits to really set him apart. All other AC characters are bursting with personality but Nook...
You MAY be able to hide the slope with bushes if you have them on both sides of the edge, you shouldn't have the one square restriction you do with trees. You can place fencing on the sand or try hiding it behind tall items. The brick fence is pretty tall, it could hide sloping when viewed head...
That's interesting! It may not be counting Leif and Redd since they technically aren't random visitors and it's important you see them both. I also think holiday characters aren't counted because I would have Zipper jumping around with other visitors. I'd be interested to see if this still...
