I get excited too! It makes me feel like I'm not the odd one in my age group. Because there are so many younger kids, that's where all the drama stems from. The good thing about being older is that you have the maturity to just step away from it and ignore it rather than getting sucked into it. I no longer have the time to sit there and argue with someone over a fictional character or something haha.

Fandoms can be good, don't get me wrong. Like, I love the comics and fanfics people make so I'll stick to those and avoid the rest. You gotta find what works for you. Filter out the trash haha.

Went on tangent there! I still have lots of childhood interests like cartoons, video games, anime, etc so I find it hard to find people who like the same stuff irl since I'm "too old" for it all. It sucks! Who do you think made all this "childish" content? Adults!!

Hey! I just wanted to say that I agree with your post in the age thread! I feel the same way! My sister is 19 and is in fandoms and I had to leave some fandoms and stop talking to people because I found out they're all teens...like it makes me feel like a creep or something LOL.
