    if he's your only amiibo villager, prepare for a lot of non-amiibo scanned residents to ask you to move before he will. it took several months before ?toile randomly pinged me to move instead of my non-amiibos! it definitely caught me off guard, as it's really rare.

    the consensus is to get at least TWO rumor talks out of different villagers, since it's possible for one of them to say a rumor text and want to move out at the same time. this has never failed me!

    they block potential hybrids IF the setup you use is too close to a walled area. there are also searches that say they do aid in growing hybrids. honestly, I believe they do, but not as much as fertilizer can. it doesn't hurt to try using them on something like a flower bed or a wide beach...
