I think seeing negative posts about Pietro on different websites actually made me feel really invested in liking him. Also, there are some videos on youtube that show him singing and dancing, and if that doesn't melt your heart, I don't know what will!
Most of my dreamies/permanent villagers...
I didn't read this entire thread, so forgive me if this has already been said, but in defense of these sorts of posts (even though I don't really participate in such posts personally), I think people get super attached to -their- villagers specifically. Even if it's popular and already out...
I'm an artist and I don't really care about making custom designs to wear. I have made custom paths/weeds for my own use, but I certainly wouldn't judge anyone for not making or using designs. I feel like it would be weird to be judged by such things.
Honestly, I love the existing clothing and...
I don't think bullying should be rewarded. Even if it is a game.
Sometimes the way people treat villagers comes off like some kind of middle/high school clique and that's the one dark undertone of the community (in general. Not talking about TBT) that just rubs me the wrong way.
It's...
I try to do as much as I can on my own. I may have to go online to salvage my turnip sales this week, and I'm not adamantly against doing anything listed. I think I'm just too lazy to take advantage of online play. I'll probably end up cutting it next month.
I'm not sure, to be honest. I do a little TTing, but not to complete things faster (unless I really need to make a villager move out faster, in the case of making room for Pietro.)
I know I wouldn't want to restart though. I have a weird thing about not wanting to restart games like AC or...
I do. Sometimes it turns out well though. I think I gave Poppy a Black Bass, and I think it actually looks kind of cool in her house. I think she keeps it turned towards the wall though, which is kind of weird.
Yes and no. I try not to, but I'm not above doing so if I feel like I need to. I don't TT for things such as economic gain, but I have TTed to remove a villager so I could get Pietro.
I personally try not to TT much because I do think it makes me feel weird about the game.
I don't mind watering flowers, but I don't usually have time for it.
I like the sloshing sound the watering can makes as you run around the island with it. Little details like that make me love the game all the more.
I have too many favorites. I guess I'd have to say Pietro, Dom, or Sprinkles, but choosing just one would be too difficult.
My only real dream villager was Pietro, but I got him so I'm not sure.
I agree! I saw her on an island and it was an instant "no" from me. Not that I hate her by any means, but the holes don't even remind me of a real tangerine/orange. I feel like I may feel better about her if her coloring were a brighter orange with the holes being smaller and less pronounced...
This is interesting information!
On the topic of villagers appearing upset if you talk to them too much, I feel like for as negative as people seem to feel about jocks and peppies, they seem to be the least "offended" if you do talk to them several times a day. Jocks tend to say "You seem...
Personality balance is more important for me. At one time, I had two birds, two penguins, and two dogs but since they were all completely different from each other, I really didn't care. I certainly didn't set out to have that combination originally.
