  • Hi! Don't worry about it, I'm glad you're feeling better!

Hmm other than 3D World I think I've only tried the 2D platformers, so maybe I need to give more of the 3D ones a shot then. I'm with you on the 2D ones getting kind of repetitive, at least of the ones I've played, so I'll bet I'd like the other 3D ones more. And world 5 has been my favorite so far as well! I just checked earlier and I am in the middle of that one, I love it. :D

Anyway, I hope you enjoy Hyrule Warriors whenever you get around to playing it (I feel like I've already said that like three times) and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
My parents agree, but I'd like to make it easier on everybody's wallets by getting as much money as I can, especially since I want to go on to vet school.

I don't think you're a weeaboo! It sounds like the language is something you're passionate about, regardless of whether you like anime, and that's something that should be admired, not laughed at. I'm the same way with Spanish, and I used to want to be able to learn a language from each family in the world (or, more likely, each continent), but I'm not sure how feasible that is anymore haha. But I hope you enjoy your studies, no matter what you decide to do with them. :)

And thank you. That's a good rule to live by, and I'll try to remember that from now on.
My birthday's November 20th! It can kind of suck since it's so close to Christmas, and those two days are when I usually get my money, so if I spend it all right after that, I usually won't have a whole lot for the rest of the year haha. I've gotten better about budgeting it, though. And wow, I hadn't realized MM 3D wasn't being released worldwide at the same time! It sucks that it might not come out around your birthday, but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless. :) MM's a great game, but there are some parts of it that definitely show their age, and Nintendo made some unnecessary changes in the remake (IMO), so that's what's been frustrating me about it haha. But it's still a unique game for the Zelda series, so I enjoy it a lot. :)

And we can commute if we live close enough, but I'd definitely like to live on-campus at least my first year since that kind of gets you in the college mindset or whatever.
And definitely, Hyrule Warriors is much different tfrom what I thought it'd be. I didn't even realize at first that it was like a crossover with the Dynasty Warriors games, and I'd played a couple of those before and didn't really like them, so I was surprised to like HW so much. I like fighting games a lot too even though I haven't played many, but this is by far my favorite out of the ones I have played!
Yeah, I've always liked Mario Kart and the older Mario Party games but I haven't been into many of the platformers for some reason. It might be because the ones I have played always frustrate me so much... I'm pretty bad at them, too, whenever I play I usually can never get past the first few levels because I'm always falling off a platform or something. :x But it's not that I don't like the platformers, I guess I just haven't given them much of a chance, but I'd like to try to get into some of them more! And really? 3D World gets a lot harder? o: I'm not quite near the end yet, I think only on like world 5, so nothing's been very difficult for me yet. I'll have to prepare myself for the end.
I know people who were really unsure of themselves before they started, so they took a year off, and it helped a lot. Not only did it help them focus, but it also made them feel more prepared and mature for college. And if you studied Japanese and video game design or something, you could always become a translator or something similar! Idk if that'd be cool to you, but it seems like a neat job to me haha.

And I hope you feel better soon! I sort of know how you feel, but I'm thinking some of my issues might just be stress, so hopefully it'll get better in time. I'm glad you've had time away to relax, though, especially if that's making the issue worse. I hope you et over your illness soon as well! :)

(Wow sorry this was so long haha)

And sorry if there are any weird typos, I'm (always tbh) on mobile, and autocorrect on my phone has been really finnicky and weird lately.
The graphics are really nice, though, and I really want to get OOT 3D now.

I don't exactly have a top choice for university, and I'm still undecided, but I think I'll probably go to a school that's in my town. It's a really good school, so my only issue is that it would feel wasteful to stay on campus when I live in town. I'm applying for scholarships and stuff, so hopefully it won't break the bank for me to do so. And I want to study biology and possibly English literature as a minor! I'm hoping to become a vet, and I really enjoyed bio my sophomore and junior years, so it seemed like a good idea.

Japanese is really cool! I'd like to take some classes in it once I start school. How do you like it? And I think a year off sounds good.
I like the Mother series so far! Earthbound was a fun game; I think it's much more enjoyable (like a lot of things) if you don't buy into the hype before you get into, which is probably why some people leave it disappointed. It's definitely old and shows, but it's still a cute and quirky game. I think part of the reason I enjoyed it is because of the things the fans create-- not just the fanart, but the music, the cosplay... It's a cool little group to see, but I wouldn't say that I'm part of it yet. Mother 3 is good so far, but it's definitely different from Earthbound, so idk how to feel about it. I like some of the changes they've made (more dialogue and stuff), but others I'm kinda eh about. I haven't played much of it, though, cuz I have so many games I need to catch up on! Once I beat MM 3D I'll return to it.

Speaking of MM3D, have you gotten it, or are you planning on getting it? I like it, but some of it frustrates me.
Omg, sorry I ran out of space! I guess I'm a pack rat with messages haha.

And yes, I'm super excited for the new Zelda! My brother (who introduced me to the series when I was younger) hasn't played one since the Minish Cap, but he's thinking about playing this one, so I think it's cool that it's appealing to a wider audience this time around while still keeping its fans happy. And I need to get a job haha (hopefully in May I'll have the time for one) so I can get it, but the recent Zeldas have been coming out around my birthday, so maybe I'll get lucky and get it as a birthday present. Either way, I'd like to have it on release.
Oh cool, it sounds like a lot of fun! I haven't played many of the Mario games but I really liked 3D World because it was so easy (I'm bad at all video games, actually, easy is good for me) so then I'd probably like Captain Toad as well. I'll try it out when I can. :) And I went into Hyrule Warriors pretty blind myself and it was a lot better than I was expecting, so I hope you'll like it as much as I did! And I totally agree, I've never been good at games but I'm okay with that :D

Also sorry if it's taking me forever to reply, I just had a class. :(
Oooh I hadn't noticed the Zelink stuff, I'll have to check that out again. o: Oh no I'm sorry you've been sick! :( I'm glad you're feeling better now, though. Did you like Captain Toad a lot? I haven't gotten it yet but I've been thinking about trying it out. And Hyrule Warriors is so fun! I've been playing it a lot lately and I really love it, though I'm not very good at it. :c But I bet you'll like it once you start playing!
No problem! Hopefully you'll be able to find some cool art on there. :D And I'm doing great, thank you! I mean, I'm in school right now so I'm not very happy about that haha, but otherwise I'm very good. :) How're you?
Yes I agree! Skyward Sword Zelda is my favorite as well, she's so cute. :) Anyway, I found it! Sorry it took awhile, I was thinking it was from a different website entirely but it looks like I just got it from tumblr at http://iconsingeneral.tumblr.com/post/72089312928/59-princess-zelda-icons-1-bonus. Also, you might probably already know about this, but this website has lots of Zelda avatars and if I remember correctly there's some fanart too that you might wanna look through at http://castletown.livejournal.com/tag/%5Bvideo%20game%5D%20legend%20of%20zelda. I apologize if you've seen that already, just thought you might wanna look through in case you haven't already. And thank you so much, I hope you have a nice day too!
Thank you! I think so too! :) I'm about to walk to school right now but once I'm home I'd probably be able to find the website I got my avatar from and I could link it to you, if that'd help at all?
SS is one of my favorites, too! :) It's actually what made me ship Zelink, which is kind of funny since so many of the games have the implication there all along.

Anyway, I hope you have a nice day (and sorry for the late reply lol)!
