  • Yeah, oceanology is a lot like a mix of biology and geology! I guess it really kind of covers most other branches of science, too (so it's probably a super hard class to take but I'd still like to try it out). But yeah I think it's so cool how much of the ocean is actually unexplored. o: As much as I love it it scares me a bit, too, especially thinking about how very deep it is and how there are lots of really weird creatures down there. Actually the ocean really just terrifies me altogether, but I still love it!
Aw yeah I know what you mean, I've a lot going on with school right now, too. This time of year always stresses me out a bit because of exams and the school year getting closer and closer to being over so I struggle with trying to keep my grades up high. I'm sure you'll get through it fine though, and I hope you do well on your school exams! And my golden retriever is named Peaches! She's very sweet, and now that I think about it she does look like she's smiling almost all the time haha, I never noticed that!
Nice! I enjoy learning languages a lot too. I think Japanese would be super cool to learn but also super hard, so it intimidates me a bit. Do you study Japanese in school? And I totally know what you mean about art classes. Luckily I've liked most of my art teachers but I've had a couple who wouldn't allow us to be creative in our work at all, and it's no fun that way. :( But yeah I agree about math, it's crazy to me how some people can be so good at it, but I guess I just think better creatively rather than logically most of the time.
That's good! Ahhh it's so cool you do ballet, I think it's so interesting and fun to watch, I love it. :) Good luck on your exam!!

Oceanography is basically just the study of the ocean and how it works, it can include studying about marine life and plate tectonics and lots of stuff but I'm mostly interested in learning about the physical properties of the ocean, like how the currents and waves and such move. I've never taken a proper class about it but I'd like to! I really love the ocean and I'd like to learn more about it. :) And it's really lame that you didn't get to do many experiments in chem! For me it's the only part I enjoy about the class, so I don't blame you at all for finding the note taking boring, it is for me too. And haha that's how my lab group is, after we finish what we're supposed to do they always try to mix the remaining solutions together or put a flame over them to see if anything happens. It's fun working with them but they make me nervous sometimes. :x
Yeah yeah moving can be stressful, definitely. I'm sorry you're so stressed at the moment. :( I hope you won't be for much longer. And labradors are so cute!! I saw an adorable one at a pet shop a few years ago that I really wanted, but my family ended up getting a golden retriever instead, and that's okay because she's cute too, but I've always kind of wanted a labrador. I agree they make really great companions. :') I can understand why they'd make you feel at ease, too, they seem to be really sweet dogs.
Thank you! I hope you've been well too. :)

Awesome, I'm excited to get it! Yeah it's been a long time since I've last ordered a plush but the last one I got ended up being like half the size I was expecting haha, so it's good to know this one will be a bit bigger. That's great! And yes, I like science a bit. I'm interested in biology and oceanography, as well as astronomy, but that's about it though. Chemistry is a fun class to be in because we're always doing cool labs and demonstrations, but unfortunately I don't do as well in it as I'd like since it involves a lot of math, and I'm not so good at math. I usually prefer history and language arts (and art) subjects. :) What about you, which subjects do you like?

It's good you guys have been having sunny weather lately! I think it's nice to wake up to it like that, I'm glad you've been enjoying it. Ah that's nice of that lady, it'll be so fun to have a trampoline of your own! :D I hope you enjoy that a lot as well!
Haha I wouldn't mind swapping places for awhile at all! For the past week or so it's always been snowy overnight and in the morning, and then it gets sunny during the daytime, so you'd probably really love it here right now. :) And it's so rare for it to be cloudy or rainy here so it'd be cool to experience more days like that for a change.

Ohhh no I'm glad you had a soft landing! Yeah it's great she has a net around it, cause her backyard is filled with mostly rocks, so I wouldn't wanna fall down there. o: And I've never heard of that game but it sounds so much fun haha I'll definitely wanna try it with my friends sometime.

Oh that's cool! It sounds like a nice home, especially with it being right near a park. And it would be awesome if you could get a dog, I love dogs, they really do make great company! I hope she'll let you have one! What kind of dog would you like to have?
Hi! I'm very sorry for taking awhile to reply, I've been away for a little bit.

I was able to find the plush available to order in the US so I've bookmarked it to order later; thank you very much again for letting me know about it, it looks cute! :D If there's a Toad one I may look that one up as well cause I'd probably also find that one cute. And as for the science toys, I mostly wanted to get these things, I think they're called hand boilers, that have some kind of liquid in a bottle and if you place your hand over the liquid it'll go up to the top and appear to boil. They look so fun to play with haha. I saw my chemistry teacher using one once and I've wanted my own ever since.
And yeah, bunnies are really cute! I've never had one and probably won't anytime soon (I have two big dogs and a cat), but I've worked with them at my SPCA and have grown to really love them. What type of bunnies did you have?

I think I'd probably like to visit Costa Rica sometime, but I don't have like a set thing in mind that I'd do there. My Spanish teacher said I'd probably really like it there, and it does seem like a beautiful country. What about you? Anywhere else you'd like to visit?

And I get you! That's cool that you guys get to try out different forms instead of sticking to one style. What exactly is the difference between modern and classical ballet?
I actually really enjoyed Super Paper Mario (mainly for the plot-- it sucks that they made it a platformer), but I cna get why people wouldn't like it, based on the gameplay. Although I guess, thinking about it, the Wii was probably more suited for a platformer since, like you said, they were really trying to push the motion controls. I hated Sticker Star, though. The storyline of a game is usually what matters most to me, but SS was basically a regular Mario platformer with turn-based battle.

Anyway (sorry to ramble lol), I'd really like to get San n3DS at some point as well! Sadly we'll only be getting the XLs, so I hope there might be some more special edition ones. Hopefully they won't sell out as quickly as the MM ones did. :')
Haha yeah, trampolines are so much more fun if you go on with other people. :D We always have a contest to see who can jump the highest, and sometimes we come down crashing into each other, but that's okay. I get hurt on her trampoline a lot less than I usually do on others because I'm always falling off and injuring myself on that metal bar around them, but her trampoline has one of those nets around it, so it's safe for me! And omg I totally know what you mean about feeling like you're staying in a hotel for awhile, that's what it always feels like for me as well and I dislike it because I start to miss my old home. But it's very good that you have something to look forward to. :) Do you move around a lot?
Yes, I always like to play as her! What about you? :) And awesome, cool, thank you so much for letting me know! I was gonna get on Amazon later tonight to order these science toys I've been wanting, so I'll definitely see if the plush is available while I'm on, I'd love to get it!

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. :( It does get a bit old when you're so used to it, so I'd say you aren't missing out on much, but I think if I lived somewhere without much snow I'd really start to miss it. It's good you at least got some snow though if you like it! Also, I'm sort of jealous of your dreary weather, since it's always sunny here on days when it isn't snowing. I love cloudy days. :x
Omg I'd love to go to Okunoshima! I'm not super sure where else I'd want to go, other than Tokyo (I think it's like the second largest city in the world? wow) and probably some places off in the countryside to be able to see stuff other than the industrialized parts of Japan. I'd also love to see their beaches, as well as the coastal reef they discovered a couple years ago.

I agree with the history aspect! I'm not super knowledgeable about Japanese history, but I'd definitely want to visit the historically significant parts of the country while I'm there. It'd be cool to go to Kyoto as well, but I'm not sure how much of that has been preserved over the years.

And oh, okay! Do you guys usually perform to classical music or what? And do you have a favorite composer or artist to perform to?
Oh, okay haha. Most of the people I know are super into the anime, but I'm not sure I've heard them mention any of the newer games ever, so I guess that explains it. Kind of sucks that it's one of those series that gets progressively worse. :x I'm not sure if I'm into any series like that, though I guess, depending on who you ask, Paper Mario and Havest Moon are like that lol.

I'd love to play some of the games all in 3D! It's definitely not something I found all important for the system, but it's be cool if the 3D were good enough to be able to do that. I think the n3DS's 3D is supposed to be much better, but I still don't know if anyone plays it all in 3D. I'd also probably get a headache from it, though, so maybe it's for the best.
Oh really? That makes me even more excited to play, I didn't realize it was thought to be the best one! And me toooo I love the cat forms. :b It confused me a bit at first cause it seemed like such an odd thing to add in haha but I think it's super cute! I bet the plush you got of cat Peach is very cute as well, I love her, she's my favorite!

Yes absolutely, I live near mountains, so we always get lots of snow here! We haven't gotten as much as we usually do so far but it always starts coming a lot during February and March especially, so winter is kind of only beginning here. Have you gotten any snow?

Aw haha that's too bad! I've always wanted a trampoline of my own, but I end up hurting myself almost every time I use them, so it's probably best if I just use them once in a while at my friend's house. Oooh that sounds like fun! It's always cool to be able to decorate a whole new room when you move, and I really love your idea, it should look great! I'm glad you had fun. :)
I actually got to meet this linguist who studied African languages (sadly I can't remember which), and he gave us a presentation where he spoke in some of them to demonstrate the differences in the dialects and the different languages. It was really interesting! I'm not sure if he went to a special school to learn them or what, but I'd probably have to look around a bit to see where I could learn one.

And that's neat! I've always thought dancing was cool, but I'm not very athletic or graceful, so it's probably not for me haha. I'd say you're doing pretty well if you're over halfway done with the grades, though! Good luck on your exam. :) Do you have follow choreography for it, or are there like certain moves you show your instructor?
Yeah, I get what you mean! Are you a big fan of Sonic? I don't think I've ever properly played one of the games, but I know people who are really into them, so I've been curious.

And omg no, I never play in 3D. When I first got my 3DS I'd try it out with every new game I got before deciding I didn't like it, but I never do that anymore haha. I might've tried it with MM for like a second, but yeah. I've never been a huge fan of the 3D, though, so it's probably also that.

I totally understand about Japan! It's one thing to visit a country, but living in it for a year would be so different. Like you, I'd definitely take the chance, since it'd be neat to view it as a some sort of resident instead of a tourist. Would you be able to pick where you'd go? Where would you want to go?
Oh whoa I didn't even know all three of those existed! I probably wouldn't blame you for not being able to tell the difference between the games because I can hardly tell the difference by their names. o: But yeah, I'll definitely try 'em out. I've been wanting to try Galaxy especially so I'll see if I can find that to buy somewhere. Oooh and I agree the world 5 music is amazing! I just love the theme of it all too, I think it's so cute!

That's awesome! I'm very glad to hear that. :) This weekend I've been asked to hang out with one of my friends, so I'll probably do that, and we'll probably go jumping on her trampoline or something if it isn't all icy since it's been super cold here. I'm not sure what else I'll do yet, but I'm sure I'll find something! I usually don't really make plans and instead just kind of go out and find stuff to do haha. What about you? :)
And haha, I really want the gamepad from that Wii U bundle, but it's so expensive! Maybe if I get a job this summer I'll save up and treat myself-- I just really like limited edition stuff like that.

I'm not sure which languages I'd want to learn! I think that, knowing Spanish, Portuguese would be very easy to learn (and in actually usually able to figure out what someone's saying when they speak Portuguese), so they could cover both South America and Europe, I suppose, but it's be cool to learn German or something as well. As for Asia, I'd want to learn Japanese, and maybe a southeast Asian language? Not sure what it'd be, though. Any African language would probably be the hardest of all, so I'd probably tackle that last haha.

I'm glad you've been enjoying yourself this week! How long have you been doing ballet, and what exactly is the exam for? And I've had a nice week, thanks. :)
Glad to hear you're feeling better! Don't feel bad, I figured you were busy or something haha.

I'm not sure if I prefer the original or the remake, tbh. It's been awhile since I played the original, and sometimes I feel like I liked it so much because I was young (I was super into MM 3D until I got to the Great Bay Temple, and I've been there for over a week now lol), which would kind of suck since I've always considered it to be my favorite Zelda. The graphics are (obviously) much better on the 3DS, but I'm not a fan of some of the changes they've made.

And wow, that really sucks about your trip! :( I'd love to visit Japan too, so I understand your disappointment. Maybe you could do a study abroad whenever you decide to go to school? Would you be interested in something like that?
