  • Much better! Now blur out the hair that's sticking near the center left area XD It's just that one piece that's sticking out ahaha
Ohhh I feel like you should finish it! I like what you did so far! XD (But you can always start over once you finish this and just compare the two of which you like better! :D )

Try blurring our the background a little bit, especially the corals!
tomorrow? im free all day! how about 9 pm uk time whhich is wen were norm play splatoon
Also, I think a "fun"-looking type of sig with illustrator shapes/splatters/whatever would look nice, so here's tuts for that too: x x
(You can get illustrator shapes from the pack I gave you, btw ;-] )

Hope that gives you some ideas! I'll most likely be signing off now but I'll be here tomorrow if you still need some feedback!
First I'd suggest resizing the render, to make it smaller. Pairing a big image with long ass text isn't gonna look great, unfortunately ;-]

As for the style, I think you could use a combination of well-placed clipping masks with good lighting. That would allow you to put clean text on the sig, and I'd actually suggest a blocky, sans serif font for it. I have a feeling it'd look nice, since cursive, fancy text would probably be overkill here.
Ah, and speaking of sigs with good lighting, I could find some sig tutorials that showcase that style of graphic, if you like? I have a ton saved from back when I referenced tutorials a lot, haha.
Oh no, the fractals would be fine if they were put on a lower opacity/less noticeable. I was actually talking about the texture that adds the light source/all the white stuff on top of the render! It makes everything look a bit LQ, and the same effect can be better achieved with a smooth radial gradient texture.
What covers the render looks scratchy. Idk if that's the texture or fractal, since I don't have the original texture/fractal to look at and compare with, haha.
Yep, you gotta be careful about that! Sometimes they can look too scratchy, especially in contrast to a clean, smooth render.

Making the tag bright overall is good, but having a nice balance of bright/dark would work very well here! You should keep that in mind ;-]
oh my god I almost forgot, really sorry about that! no rush at all, feel free to pester me about stuff because I do forget things sometimes, haha.
you're not impatient at all ;-]

anyway, the render is super nice and allows for lots of light texture usage. you should go big on lighting with it imo. there should be some tutorials for that on deviantART :-]
right now the sig you have is pretty "brushy" and full of brush work (right? it looks like this to me)
I actually don't think that works very well; I feel like the result would be better looking clean and less scratchy, you know?
will definitely give you advice when I can! np btw, I always have those tips saved for when people need 'em ;-]
lmao ok, I get you. can't get on tonight though, because I have some math stuff to finish up rn and I'm planning to do some battles for a pokemon tourney afterwards. ttyl then!
yeah, I do. though my friends do joke that I'm allergic to it, since I'm barely on :-x
I'll make an effort to be more active there though, probably by re-allowing it to start whenever I boot up my computer, haha. I turned it off a few months ago and that's what started my skype hiatus, so to speak.
Then I suppose there are some programs to open ZIPs that work similarly to RAR Extract Frog. You should probably try opening a zip with the right click method first though; there's no reason why it shouldn't work on W10.
Yeah, RAR Extract Frog doesn't handle ZIPs as far as I know. But I have no idea, sorry! :-/
I just right click on a zipped folder and click 'Extract All...' to unlock the contents; I don't need a program for it. I thought that was the case with all computers, actually...
