I guess it depends on how you look at it! I barely scratched the surface of Pokémon X but didn't have any qualms about starting Moon, only because the general feel of X didn't appeal to me at all and I didn't mind shelving it. Oh yeah, I broke down and bought Moon over the weekend. XD
And yes, of course I know Bayonetta! I liked the original game and had some fun with it, though it's a little too button-mashy for my liking. Great character, though!
I hope Bowie Claus knows I want Jareth under the tree this year.

I'm still undecided as to whether or not I'll even be buying the new game(s), just because 6th gen and the move to 3D definitely didn't gel with me and it didn't feel like the Pokémon I knew and loved. That being said, I also normally gravitate towards the Water types, though I can't deny that having a Grass/Ghost type as a starter has a certain appeal for me!
It was surprising, you still get points for always having perfectly matching avatars and signatures though. =]

Don't feel bad about stone awards though, I got many stones myself as well but the game is ment to be played through multiple times for higher scores. Once you know what to expect from each verse it becomes easy trust me
