I also noticed how messy my random trees look I remember planting them all with "this spot needs a tree, what I have... oh, a cherry" mentality. I will work on it once I have time and patience. For flowers, yes it's a preference. Too many flowers hurt my eyes. But I agree, some spots are just too empty.
Yeah, bottom section looks so cute when it's autumn but the top looks best when the grass is green (especially in summer), so I'm kind of indecisive about that :ı
