    It's been a while, I hope you've been well.

    I've been wanting to make this recipe for a long time when I saw it online. It's based off of the big soup from Mario Odyssey/Luncheon Kingdom. There were a lot more steps to it than I originally thought, but I decided to just go for it and I think it was worth the effort. Tasted really good! Wanted to share it. I made such a mess in between omg 😆

    I know man she's too cute, she's has a couple of kinks in her tail which luckily don't seem to bother her. We decided to name her Midna, like Twilight Princess.

    Oh that's such a good name! 🥰 So precious! And you can get her a little wolf plushie to hehe. It's good that her tail isn't bothering her! Penny has an irregular kink in her tail to, but it never seems to cause her any discomfort and the vets have said it was never anything to be concerned over. If your vets have said the same, then you can rest easy 😌❤️ It will just be part of her charms.

    Hey Firesquids! I made caramel sauce with honey the other day. I randomly came across a recipe someone did for the honeyed apples from Botw and I wanted to see how it was with honey. It was really good! I also drizzled some on a brownie afterwards and it was amazing 😋

    Haha I love the cow patty with the toothpick. If it tastes good that's all that matters! I love chocolate caramels, especially if they're salted.

    I forgot to mention before but we planted an apple tree in the back yard a few years ago, it's got a few different varieties of apples that are grafted onto it. (I can't remember which ones, hopefully the tags hold up) It grew apples for the first time this year! But I went out there and plucked them all off because its not ready for fruit just yet.

    Today I had to use up some scone mix so I made a bunch of blueberry scones.
    They're a little dry but tasty with a glass of milk.

    Oh I love scones! ❤️ They are dry but still so good! My sister used to make them all the time and would use lemon curd for the dryness. I miss those hehe. That's so fun! I planted one of those, but mine died so I never replaced it. I hope yours grows to be healthy and strong! 🌳

    The caramel was made with honey, but salted might be fun to try next time! If there is a next time 😅 I totally get it, it's so fun, but some of the more complicated recipes can be sm effort. I actually made the chorizo soup I mentioned. It's so much effort, but worth it when it's done!

    (I'll share a better picture of a bowl of it sometime later. It has a lot of steps, but it's soooo good!)

    I've also been pretty inactive lately because life has been so busy. Id been working on a gift for one of my uncles then we finally had our wedding party and it was beautiful! Then my other uncle bought us a new fridge as a wedding gift, so we've been renovating the kitchen a bit to fit it in there, so much to do still but I'm very happy with the new fridge!

    I get that! Sometimes I want to log in here and start actively posting again, but life says 'no' and boot stomps me 😅 Sounds like you've been very productive! I remember you mentioning that, I'm glad you got the chance to have your wedding. That's so wonderful! I'm so happy for you ❤️

    What a nice and generous gift to. Time to stock it up! Renovations feel like they take foreeever, but you'll be so happy when it's done! I've been trying to do the same for my basement and it's been such a on and off project...but I'm getting there!

    It was wonderful but soooo much work, I'm never getting married again!

    It's nice you got your gardens started! I hope you grow some huge melons. Our roommate has offered to help us pay for some raised beds so we can make better use of the front lawn. That's going to be a whole project but one that I'm excited to start when life slows down for a minute. I've been neglecting my plants so lately I've been re-potting and cleaning out my greenhouse and at least getting my house plants in order.

    I'm not sure if it was actually you, but I saw you as a commentor on Dayoman's Spyro 120% Speedrun stream where he and the chat were having a debate on what insect species the metal bugs in High Caves were. If I remember, you said "1" which was the vote for Beetle, the other was Ant.

    I never knew you had a Youtube Channel, and was a fan of Spyro. (I mean, the Island name was a dead giveaway I was unaware of until now, ha!)

    Thank you! I froze a lot of it and it tastes amazing. Almost like potato soup but with way more flavor. Wish I could give you a bowl! I actually found a soup based off of the grandmother from WindWaker that uses pears. I wasn't sure what to expect but omg it was delicious.

    I love and envy your passion for cooking. Huh using pears is interesting. Makes me think of this yellow curry my mom would make with canned peaches or mandarin oranges, it sounds kind of odd, but I always really liked it.
