    Hey Shawn! You asked me a while back if I had any games I was playing. I actually picked up Paper Mario 1000 Year Door on the Switch! I played it yeaaars ago on the GameCube and it's been such a fun trip remembering all the stuff and things I actually forgot! Like I forgot one of the first battles was actually like Jeopardy and then the first boss when they start to lose asks 'if you let me go I'll let you smell my feet.' and Mario's yes response is wild 😆😅

    Well you get a yes or no option. First she tells him she'll give her treasure. If you say no, then it's a rare item. Again no and she's like ok I'll let you smell my dragon feet. It was just way too out there so I had to say yes to see what would happen 😅 It's just a trap so if Mario approaches he gets chomped. But her line is wild lmao something along the lines of 'ok but no direct nose contact'

    I get it! We all have our breaks from time to time. I was on a bit of a break for a month or so, but it's always nice to hop by.

    In response to your post... I'm not sure if you can find poutine in your area, I heard it's only common in Eastern Canada (especially Quebec). I think it'd be easier to make some, it's super easy to cook and it's amazing! (You don't have to use cheese curds, my parents just use regular block cheese when they make poutine.)

    Aw nice! I want to try that game sometime. It looks so fun and I love how it's a nod to the classics! I don't want to spoil in case you haven't gotten far, but I've seen some clips on YT with homages to the old games.

    I've been playing the new Princess Peach game. The baking levels are fun. It's pretty much like how Wreck-it Ralph had to build that go-kart. Lots of precision/timing and its just a fun mini game so I keep replaying lol!

    I am not even slightly familiar with the Princess Peach game... ? Sounds fun though!

    And yeah, in Astro Bot you collect/rescue bots, and many of them are Sony exclusive thmes! It's really fun! (I also kind of forgot that Sony has so many great video game characters!)

    That sounds so cool! I need to pick that up.

    Princess Peach's game is fun. It's sort of like Paper Mario except the levels are theater-themed. So lots of props ect and when you move to another spot the curtain closes and stagehands redo stuff. It's a fun concept, just not for everyone. I've also been playing the FF7 remake. It's fun to see it remastered and Barret's voice actor kills the voice!

    Thanks for reaching out! As an adult, I would say 4, but if I include my ex's and roommates cats then that number doubles! As a kid another four cats... I absolutely love cats! They are such quirky and loving animals! I don't think I could be happy without a cat in my life!
