In Animal Crossing New Horizons, if you eat a fruit and sit on a toilet, you will lose the fruit buff with a small piece of dialogue then flush once you get off. We are living in extraordinary times.

Has anyone else encountered interesting things like this with items?

I honestly love it XD It's amusing and also I have an easy way to get rid of fruit buffs without having to uproot and replant multiple trees.
 
I mean you could use the toilet in previous games as well (it would make a flushing sound) but you didn't have any "superpowers" so it didn't do anything...
 
I laughed my butt off when I got the "Well, that takes care of that!" message!

I also love that my toilet automatically opens any time I walk near it. It's definitely one of those fancy electric toilets from Japan.
 
Honestly, I kinda like it cause I accidentally eat fruit ALL the time and there wouldn't be anyway to get rid of it unless you reset the whole software. I like it's pretty humorous too!
