What are your opinions' on the Ferguson grand jury's verdict?

I'm not going to say whether the grand jury's decision was right or wrong considering that I wasn't there and the evidence that I've seen on both sides has been contradictory, so I honestly don't have a "side." However, I will say this:
Why does there have to be violence & vandalism when it comes to the citizens of Ferguson protesting the decision? I understand that the citizens are livid with the decision, they felt that Wilson should have been indicted, I get that. However, the decision given does not give people the right to cause even more violence and vandalism . Various people including Michael Brown's parents wanted any protest that took place to be done peacefully, Civil Rights leaders across the country want any protests that take place to be done peacefully. Yet right now in Ferguson, people have thrown objects at the courthouse, vandalized various vehicles, and from some reports (this part I'm not 100% sure on) state there have been shootings since the outcome was announced. Causing violence and vandalism doesn't make the decision change, it doesn't put Darren Wilson in jail and it doesn't bring Michael Brown back to life. If anything, all this does is makes things worse than they already are by causing more pain and suffering

From all of the live scans that I've seen people have been vandalizing vehicles, assaulting police, and various other things. Infact, I witnessed all of this start when CNN was showing the press conference. Various of my local news stations that actually report on the incident are in the area, and are supporting what I stated. Right now the police are doing as the did back in August and are using tear gas and the rubber bullets again.
So I am in fact staying informed, as I have on this entire situation since it happened.

If you're white and you're angry, then acknowledge the privilege in your anger and that this isn't about us and continue to stand in solidarity against the continual slaughtering of black youth and the systemic suppression of black people.
Saying "violence isn't an answer" is what the governing system and people that are in power say.
Stay safe, stay woke.

Really I have no opinion on it, not because I'm unaware of current events due to me being a nerd and such, but this is a situation that happened like a year or 2 ago.
Mostly the same thing will happen again , and will turn into countless riots over the decision over the entire thing.

I'm so sick of this! Especially now that there's FIRES BEING SET!!!!! Michael Brown was NOT A CHILD, OK? He was 18, 295 lbs., and DANGEROUS!!! He did, in fact, try to hurt Darren Wilson. Also, the arsonists and shooters aren't even listening to his parents, who wanted protests to be peaceful! Urgh, why are people being arsonists because an "innocent child" was killed by the cops. We dealed with Trayvon Martin, and now THIS!!!

Oh well, after the intial violence and vandalism stopped, then yes every protest up until now has been peaceful. Read what you said incorrectly at first, my misunderstanding, apologies on that.
It actually happen about 3 months ago. Not "a year or 2 ago"
