Pokeman's Dream Reviews

Name-Annie
Town name-JOY
Dream address-5600-3965-9382
How close is my town complete-100%
Do i have all my dreamies-yes
Things to focus on-My town is well decorated, but i like it to be simple. My houses are alot of fun.
Things to ignore-My town is 4 seasons and looks best when updated in the summer, but it is currently updated in the fall.

Town of JOY

The scenery around the plaza was quite inviting. Not sure if the clothes around here were meant to be for visitors, but I donned the tuxedo outfit and began my journey through your town.
First of all, let me just say how genius a four-season town is. I ventured north of the plaza and came across the winter section. It looked amazing! Loved how everything was holiday-themed and that the house here resembled a gingerbread house.
Stepping inside, I see you've made fantastic use of the Alpine set's customization. The green chairs looked really nice too. If I may make a suggestion, I feel like K.K. Dixie is closest to a Christmas song, but that is just my opinion. Really enjoyed the other rooms here; they captured every aspect of winter! The room upstairs was just so cozy.
I left the winter section of town and headed over to the fall section... where I fell in love instantly. Fall is my favorite season and you captured it perfectly. The leaf patterns were really nice, and I found your mayor wandering around in the pumpkin patch! I found it funny because she was looking towards the scarecrow here, so when she said "YOU CREEP ME OUT" I imagined I was actually listening in on her talking to the scarecrow.
Outstanding use of Rococo in this house. The dull lighting of the lamp fits the theme and creates an even creepier atmosphere. Witch's lair to the right. Great use of patterns as always. The graveyard was awesome- I actually got a little spooked when I walked in. Not really sure what was happening in the left room... Maybe a study? In any case, I liked it. Downstairs was a cute little celebration room. After all, Halloween doesn't always have to be scary! When I headed upstairs I instantly started laughing. It's like a monster casino up here! Frankenstein and a werewolf shooting pool over there while a mummy is over here playing on his skull drum kit. There was even a pumpkin maid! Jack would certainly be proud of this house!
Headed south to find Snow White's house. Really brilliant designing here. I loved the little mining cave and the farm. The basement brought back loads of memories and upstairs? The seven dwarves! Have I mentioned that you're a genius yet?
After this I headed over to the final house in the spring section. Time to enter the castle of a beautiful princess! As you'd expect, it was put together really well and showcased all highlights of being a princess. At first I felt like I was too plain to be in such a regal place, but then I remembered I was wearing the tuxedo! I fit right in!
I can't find a thing I didn't like about this town. It really made me sad to leave!

JOY's score: 10/10
Brilliant design and each of the houses was amazing. Definitely worth visiting again and again!

Name: Spencer
Town Name: Pandora
Dream Address: 5100-4322-7082
How close do you feel your town is to completion?: 95%
Do you have all your dreamies?: Margie's my only dreamie and I just got her when I last updated my DA
Things I should focus on: House Interiors and Town Design
Things I should ignore: None :)

Name: Rav3n
Town Name: AzkaBAN!(the ! is a part of the name)
Dream Address: 6800-4907-0034
How close do you feel your town is to completion? About 75%
Do you have all your dreamies? Three to go!
Things I should focus one: My park area, and the Stonehenge forest, also my campsite! Oh and my house~
Things I should ignore: The designs on the ground! They're marking out where my forest is and helping me keep track of how many saplings I have left to buy. Also, the fact that the majority of my flowers are used for my paths and not many are in my town~ I'm currently breeding flowers~

I feel like I should tell you a bit about AzkaBAN!
Originally I had a town called Hogwarts and I had nearly all my dreamies~ and then thanks to not playing for a few months they moved out and my town fell to pieces~ I created AzkaBAN! to get my dreamies back and get back into ACNL~
As there are a TON of HP towns out there, I decided to still be true to my Potterhead nature, but show a side of the Potterverse that is rarely seen: Azkaban~
AzkaBAN! is set after the Second War with the Dark Lord and as the dementors have left the prison, the ministry has to have a new way to reform prisoners~ hence the flower breeding~
I do have plans to add in more PWPs, I just have to wait for a villager to move so I can put in my zen garden/park/forest~
The PWPs that I've chosen are supposed to tell the story of the prisoners being allowed out into the grounds, tending to the gardens and being able to relax and look at the PWPs~ the worst prisoners that were Death Eaters during the war (or villagers that I didn't want and have voided) have been banned from AzkaBAN! leading to the name of AzkaBAN! So that when a prisoner/villager leaves they get AzkaBANNED!

Anywho! Just a short little story on why my town is called what it is and why it's so bare at the moment~

You're very welcome! I'll probably visit them once I finish all these. xD I just added my DA to the first post so you're more than welcome to check it out. Things have changed since the last update but I'm waiting for it to snow at night again so I can update it with soothing music. <3
Also I never wanted my town's name to be Sunshine. I got ACNL on release but didn't start playing it until after midnight so I really wanted to get started or I was afraid I'd fall behind. When it came time to pick a name I wanted something nice like GreenGrove but it wouldn't fit, so I went with the name of my City Folk town, Sunshine. I'll admit it's not the worst name ever but I really wish I would've taken the time to think it through. I was just in such a rush. xD It's also pretty ironic considering Sunshine is a mostly nighttime town haha.

Name: Eldal?t?
Town Name: ?lfheimr
Dream Address: 4400-2178-0979
How close do you feel your town is to completion?: Pretty close, around 75-80%
Do you have all your dreamies?: Yes!
Things I should focus on: Basically my town
Things I should ignore: Besides Eldal?t?'s home, ignore the other three characters homes because I'm still working on them.

Town of ?lfheimr

I can already tell this is going to be a great town the minute I leave the bed. The detail of your flower and river patterns are incredible! Plus you captured the cherry blossoms which I love the most!
First of all, I love how you named your alt characters "Mule #". It's definitely appropriate as it seems they had a lot of work to do! Headed south and found hybrids galore! I've said this in other reviews, but I'm a sucker for nature. Give me a log bench surrounded by flowers, cedars, and bushes and I'll turn to goo. Continued to wander and found your campsite. I felt it could have been a bit more "outdoors-y" but then again I'm not sure you could have done much with the pond there. Really nice fountain area here- I love when archways are used in these places. Back to wandering. The way you decorate around your buildings is fantastic! And wow, a Stonehenge? I rarely see one of those! The area by the windmill is really nice. I could just sit there for hours! More wandering led me to your house. I really like how you have several different fruit trees here. In I go!
Stepping in I see that the main room is pretty bland, but it's unique and I like that. I could actually picture it as a real-life living room. To the east was the bathroom. Very peaceful! North was the kitchen. It had the same style as the center room but somehow did not feel repetitive. Again, I felt like I was walking through someone's real-life home. The Alpine worked wonders here. West was a laundry room. I now see what you're going for here: you created a house like one might have in real life! I see this and I LOVE IT. Never before have I seen someone do this! Downstairs was a simple Weeding room. Very nice! Finally, upstairs was a nice bedroom complete with slippers by the bed and photos of villagers everywhere. The crystallized green pieces look really perfect.
Back to wandering! To the east I ran into your gorgeous zen area filled with bamboo! I guess that's one way to handle an infestation, huh? Brilliant! With that, I finished and went back to the plaza!

?lfheimr's Score: 10/10
Incredible town that obviously had a lot of time and effort put into it. Paths and scenery were beautiful, design was practically flawless, and the idea of having a realistic house is amazing! You should be proud of what you have accomplished!

I'm just now visiting your town of Sunshine.
I love the snow path. All the hybrids look so pretty. Having the dream updated at night with it snowing is a nice touch.I'm having fun visiting all your wolf villagers.I made sure to talk to all of them.

Nathen's house- Your town reminds me of Christmas so i am happy to see a house with some Christmas spirit. This house is very nice.I really like the sloppy room on the left.

I really enjoyed exploring your town.I'm glad i got to visit.

Town Name: Palta
Dream Address: 4800-4659-8337
How close do you feel your town is to completion?: 60%.. I intend to make a forest and I'm not nearly half done with the tree/bushes placement. Also to have in mind I don't plot reset much, just build around the villager's house.
Do you have all your dreamies?: No! but I'm only missing one. Francine and Chrissy won't be permanent residents.
Things I should focus on: mostly pwp placement, and landscaping in general.
Things I should ignore: The pink house's interior. And also the lack of paths and the dirt patches.. I was almost done working on natural paths but needed to TT and the grass grew back. When the paths are marked it's easier to follow the town's layout.

Also I mostly focused on christmas for the latest update, and placed a couple of pwps for the occasion. I hope you enjoy the christmas eve dinner at the mayor's house!

Town of Pucchin

Very nice plaza to start! First impressions are always important and you started off by giving me high hopes for your town! Your tree lining was flawless. Really, really nice work. Not too sure how I feel about the roses everywhere, though. They seem out of place to me, although I can see what you're going for. Also your red flower pattern may be great during the other seasons, but really sticks out in winter.
Headed over to your house where I ran into you. We have the same eyes and hairstyle, so I felt like I was looking into a mirror. Ugh, I'd rather live in your mirror town! Your center room was very nice despite the horror of K.K. Lullaby. Finally, someone with a festive tree in their house! Also, I didn't know the stocking could go on the floor! Awesome! Your bakery room was very nice, but too quiet for me. A shop should have music playing! Egg room to the right. Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks K.K. Parade totally fits with Zipper. The little birthday room was so cute! Regal looks perfect! Upstairs was kinda boring compared to the other rooms, but there wasn't anything wrong with it. Looks like I saved the best for last: your mayor basement! Incredible! Most people have it in their back room so I'm really taken by how nice it looks in the basement. Best room in the house.
Wandered around some more after leaving your house. Ran into the carnation heart that I really liked. It's things like this that I love seeing in other towns! Perfect fountain and flower clock placement. The jungle gym, however, looks a bit strange considering there aren't any other playground PWPs around. Your beach looks fantastic. Not too many decorated beaches out there. Went over by your alt's house and saw her standing near the cliff looking out at the ocean. Perfect. I also really like the chair sculpture here.
One thing I should note is that having one bridge made it difficult for me to get around, namely when I wanted to leave. It does make paths easier, but at the cost of convenient traveling.

Pucchin's score: 9.8/10
Really amazing town! Landscaping and path placement was outstanding!

Thanks for the Great Review, i wanted only 1 bridge so i can have more control of visitors, to avoid them having more accecibility to stealings, and thanks :)

Name: Tops
Town Name: Tricera
Dream Address: 7900-4630-6058
How close do you feel your town is to completion?: 75%, Houses not complete and lacking pwps
Do you have all your dreamies?: Yes
Things I should focus on: Town design
Things I should ignore: Nothing really, but do take into account that I lack alot of pwps. I've marked the spots for them though. Alt houses not touched either other than exterior

Town of Tricera

Okay, wow. I can't stop laughing. No idea why, but I find Mayor Tops of Tricera hilarious. I just need to calm myself. ANYWAY, once again I seem to have stumbled upon a gorgeous town with a beautifully decorated plaza! Also, 5pm music! My favorite! With that, I began my journey. As I walk around, I'm loving how you perfectly mixed cedars and regular trees together. Not only that, but the random hybrids planted behind the bushes and mushrooms scattered about really give the town an autumn feel. As you had mentioned, I saw spots where you were planning to place PWPs, but the way you filled the spots with clovers and mushrooms made it look as if nothing even needed to go there! Your organization and attention to detail are outstanding- I love the signs and general symmetry. Came to your house and found you wandering around in the little field here, which also looks great.
You did say your house was under construction, so I'll skip that part of the review.
Entered the so-incredibly-amazing "town" area. I cannot even begin to describe how perfect it looks. THAT PLOT RESETTING THOUGH. Most people just want their villagers in a certain section, but YOU... you had them all IN LINE... in a pattern! It's so perfect I'm like crying. The castle looks really nice here, but I can't help but feel like it should be the mayor's house... although I doubt you planned on having all this when you first started. I seriously just need to leave this sector because I will just keep rambling on about how perfect this is... I mean, there's a fountain in the middle and everything...
I finally managed to pull myself away from that area (with the help of your villagers... and Tom Nook) and headed south. Someone definitely spent a lot of time organizing bushes here... and they're all in bloom! Nice touch putting a flower bed here- I don't see very many of those. Fruit trees over here and I can see you're planning on putting in some PWPs which should look nice. Cute little park and shrine over here!
Feeling I had seen all there was to see, I headed back to the plaza to conclude my review. ...okay so maybe I went back to the town area. ...I need help.

Tricera's Score: 10/10
Yet another perfect town! The way everything is arranged is just so perfect! Hours of plot resetting definitely paid off as you had a perfect little town area! Although you said you lacked PWPs, I still felt like your town was perfect as is. Did I mention things were perfect? Your houses aren't complete, but with scenery like this, who would ever want to go inside?

Aww you're so kind thank you ;u; Also yeah I wasn't planning on using the town at first at all, since it was a cycling town. I loved the map so ended up using it.
I should probably try to make it look more medieval since everybody misses the theme I tried to go for, but then again I wasnt too obvious with it.
