(NA) Series 2 Amiibo Cards released today!

So apparently in North America, series 2 of the amiibo cards have released today! I checked a few stores and they have some in stock! I don't have access to a car today so I'll have to pick some up later.

Has anyone grabbed some packs?

I just returned from a nearby Game Stop.

I bought five packages.

I decided to not overbuy for respect to others wanting to come in that store and purchase Amiibo Cards.

Among the villagers I definitely wanted to receive in Amiibo Cards (and have with this purchase): Ankha, Beau, Drift, Pango, Tia, and Whitney. I also received Amiibo Cards from Chip, Isabel, Kicks, and Leila.

I have on order three more packages from Amazon.com. It will be interesting to see which ones I draw. I am most hoping for Julian. But, I also want Amiibo Cards of Kidd, Phoebe, and Scoot. (Add to this Sprinkle.)

This is just off the top of my head. (I did not commit to memory all who are a part of the Series #02 release.)

When the game of "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer" came out, here in the United States, I took pictures of the Amiibo Cards Series #01 (among others). I won't be doing that this time. I am short on time and have to go. But, the release today [Friday, 01.22.2016] of the Amiibo Cards Series #02 is pleasing.

Because when the last series came out, I had such a hard time finding the cards at Walmart, Best Buy and Gamestop! I'm gonna be going to pick up some packs later on today...I'm so excited and really hope I don't get to the store(s) and they haven't gotten them on the shelves yet >.<

I checked online and most stores in my area don't have them in stock yet. I left the house at 9:30 and rushed back home to beat the snow that will keep me stuck at home for probably the next two days. I know Best Buy has them in stock (they're next door to Target) and I didn't go in there. We also have 2 GameStop stores in town that I didn't go to. I'm sure the people who made it out today were able to get some cards.

I didn't get any of Series 1 right away, so I wanted to grab what I could this time around. If, like you, I had time to go from store to store today, maybe I would have.

I wonder if the stock is different in Canada? One bestbuy pulled the 'we didn't get in anything new today' but they had paper jam everywhere -_- I'm not going to that store again . They did that with something else before, only to find out the employee lied. I hope the storm isn't that bad for you guys. I got an awesome boyfriend who had the day off. So I had him drive around to get them since I had to work the whole day. I work in a different town so it helped to get them on the way home anyways. He got gas money and dinner for being awesome and he gets to open a pack haha

I went to Walmart because it was the only store open at this time and to my luck they had a whole box! I bought four packs and only got four dupes so that's sweet. I've put a good chunk into my collection tonight!
