I experimented with a 3px border instead of my usual 4px so that's probaly why it seems smaller. I haven't looked at some new tutorials in a while so thats why they look the same. ^^

@pear40: are you using GIMP or Photoshop?

Great sig! Could anyone show me a tut for adding a border? I haven't been able to find one...

Just select the whole canvas and do a 1px inside stroke with black. It makes a simple border.
