The Island of Petalwood

I took a plane to a deserted island today.

As a backstory; I, Aliya have been living in a small train in a town. I decided it was time for something new. I took a simple outfit, took the train to the airport and decided a new life was for me!

Once we landed, I was greeted to a blank slate. I came here with two of my friends: Fuchsia and Scoot! We headed towards the sole island tent, where we met up with Tom Nook, Timmy and Tommy.

Tom Nook gave us tents to place; these would be our homes for the time being. I picked a spot relatively close to the beach!

The next day, I had done some exploring of the newly named Petalwood. Fish, bugs and weeds galore! I also gave Tom Nook some of the critters I found. Because of this, he called up an old friend named Blathers. In the end of it all, I put down a spot for his tent to be set up in a few days.

Overall, I had a great first day. I'm excited of what's to come tomorrow!

I awoke to a nice sunny day this morning, in my new home Tom Nook had built overnight! How did he do it? No clues here.

Tom Nook had finally set up a broadcast system for the new island.

I had met Blathers, the bug-afraid owl who will run our new museum, which will open very soon.

I found a note in a bottle on the beach, and it container a letter and a new DIY recipe of a wooden length mirror. I built one and put it in my house, where I could redo some of my features. I even took a selfie of it!

Very cute, at least I think so! Haha!

After talking to Fuchsia and Scoot a bit, I decided it was time to head to a mystery tour. Wilbur got the plane ready, and we went to a few. I collected resources for Timmy and Tommy's new store, Nook's Cranny. Once i had all of the parts, I got to pick a spot! I wonder if it'll be done tomorrow?

I looked down at my dress I designed. I felt like it was missing something. A ribbon, a bow? I took to the sewing machine and fixed it up a bit. Here's what I came up with--I love it!

I went to one more island, to see if there were any animals that wanted to join my island. I saw a white tiger across the river, but I paid no mind to her. I was by her when suddenly, I see a scorpion! I hope it wasn't the brother of the one I caught yesterday!

After the showdown, the scorpion ended up in my pockets safely. (safely? safely.)
I turn around to see the white tiger again, and I saw hello. Her name is Bianca, and she has a rather bubbly personality. She told me she already knew about me, and how great I am. (But am I really?)

In the end, Bianca decided to move to Petalwood! I await her presence once we get the island more settled with the new shop.

All in all, a great day. It sure is nice to come home to a real house. It's small, but it's home. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

Yesterday, I visited Nintendo’s dream address! It was interesting seeing so many Mario-themed motifs around the island.

After a nice nap, I headed towards Tom Nook’s tent. We set up a new bridge placement, and I got together a few home plots for animals to move into!

I also got access to the top of the island, where I did a little wooding and weeding!

A little bit later, we celebrated the opening of Nook’s Cranny! I also got to meet Mabel.

I then proceeded to visit a few mystery islands, in search of materials. Many were found!

All in all, yesterday was very fruitful. I wonder what today will bring?

Yesterday was an interesting day. I was greeted by Harvey, who invited me to his island. I will go sometime soon!

The Petalwood Museum had also opened up!

Otherwise, along with the new bridge, yesterday was a pretty lowkey day. I enjoyed catching bugs and fishing with my new friends.

Today was another low key day. i got a very nice outfit from Mabel, I love it! Just a tad warm with the summer weather coming soon.

Sadly, I made Blathers cry when giving him a bug....I felt so bad! And I even laughed!

Cranston also moved in today. I think he'll be a wonderful neighbor!

I also made a nice yard for Bianca. I don't have many resources yet, but this is good for now.

I will be spending the rest of the day collecting flowers and sea diving!
