To win the lot, you need to give me a challenge for my Pokemon Y game. I already have Pokemon X, so I don't want to do a boring walkthrough all over again. Basically, give me challenges similar to Nuzlocke, Monotype, Wonderlocke etc (although you can implement said challenges into your own unique version). The best challenge's creator will win the bush starts and the Ice Set.

I am an intermediate player when it comes to Pokemon, by the way, so nothing too hard nor too easy.

Ends when 20 different challenges have been introduced.

1) Three-Starter challenge by FireNinja1
2) Gender-Locke challenge by lizzyrose
3) Avatar challenge by BambiOmega
4) Fugitivelcoke Challenge by Katt
5) Vivillion Challenge by fleaofdeath
6) No Evolutions! Challenge by milly
7) Smeargle Challenge by amemome

Here's my horrible attempt at a challenge:

Three Pok?mon in the party max at any time. They must all be starters from some generation. No more than two per type.
Pick 5 Pok?mon. Those are the only Pok?mon you can use for the entirety of the game. Three must be in the party, two in the box.
Unlimited heals at Pok?mon Centers, but blackouts are game overs.
Pok?mon can be from the same generation, as long as they aren't duplicates.

well I at least tried

Cool challenge! Gonna add that to OP (and give your name a bold red color just cause ;) ).

Since I'm feeling generous, I'll be giving away an Ice Set as well!

bump. this is a really easy to win some unorderable items guys. it literally will just take less than 5 minutes of your time.

Have you done perma death before? You can catch 1 pokemon of each species but if any of your pokemon faint in battle you have to release them. Idk. My boyfriend and I did it, it really makes you think in terms of strategy and stuff so you don't lose your pokemon.

Nuzlocke is the other term for it c:

I have no idea what to call this challenge...

You're only allowed 6 Pokemon and they must be the same gender as your starter. If you see a Pokemon that isn't the same gender as your starter you cannot catch it ever again (e.g.regardless of if you see it again but with the right gender). If all your pokemon faint it's game over. Once you've caught your six pokemon you cannot catch/trade any more. All your pokemon must be within 10 levels of one another (for example: lvl 56 and lvl 46 is okay, but lvl 23 and lvl 37 is not).

See how far you can get with an all-normal team:) or any other type.
Or try to catch every single pokemon you encounter.

So this isn't my original idea but I think its pretty awesome

Avatar Challenge, mostly just a typing challenge no additional rules, here is a diagram explaining how it works
http://m.imgur.com/U17CL

Obviously like the nuzlocke you could add little things to make this more challenging that fit the avatar universe, like nick naming pokemon names form the tv show, or catching one pokemon on each route since in avatar they don't exactly get a new companion to travel with them every minute

This is one I made myself- it's called the Fugitivelocke Challenge.

It's basically a nuzlocke, but pretty much a lot harder. It's got the regular nuzlocke rules, if a pokemon faints it's perm box'd or released, etc., etc., but there's new rules, that after the 2nd-4th gym (you can choose - so you can buy all necessary items) you cannot go in houses, Pokemon Centers, Pokemarts, or other buildings. (unless you have to) If you do go in a building, it's game over. It's really hard, but totally fun at the same time.

The Vivillon Challenge! (I just kinda thought of this, so yeah)

See how far you can get with six different patterned Vivillon! You can have only one HM slave, and it cannot be used for battling. I think the real challenge here is trying to get the different patterns =P (again, it sucks, but I think it would be fun to do at the same time)

Cool suggestions guys. Keep 'em coming. Gonna update the OP once I'm done with school.

What about a challenge where you're not allowed to evolve anyone? :p I'm not very good at coming up with ideas haha.

It's cool seeing everyone's ideas though, I want to restart X and am wondering about doing a Nuzlocke.

That idea isn't bad at all. Another reason why I made this thread is for people to use it as a reference of how they're Pokemon games could be played out if they decide not to do it the typical way. So this isn't just helping me :)

Please do not get discouraged with the amount of creativity a challenge that has been mentioned may possess. I love trying different things and I enjoy reading what the people of TBT can come up with :D
