  • Oh no, you're doing great, you're not awkward at all. c:

Yep, I'm planning to play the FES version. A friend of mine is going to help me set up a PSP emulator, since I don't really have the money to buy one just to play Persona on (as much as I'd like to). I heard it was really good, so I'm pretty excited! I will probably play first as the female protagonist too. The concept of the game really intrigues me--plus the way you summon your Persona.

I might get P4DAN just for the music, Shoji Meguro is such a great composer.
I love Nanako so much ;u; She's so cute, how could anyone not love her?
That was... a really late response, sorry again.

I don't really have enough time to concentrate on watching anime now, so I usually put something on in the background to play while I do my work.

Also, sorry if this sounds creepy, but I checked out your Tumblr, and I saw you had reblogged a post about Persona. I love the Persona series, I think it's great! Well, honestly I think Persona 4 is great, since it's the only one I've played so far, but I'm planning to play Persona 3 when I have time, and then 5 when it comes out, so ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Ah, sorry for the late response.

Hm, I've already mentioned Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Mushishi... My favorites also include Planetes and Uchuu Kyoudai. Psycho-Pass was pretty good too, though I'm just going to pretend that the second season doesn't exist. I haven't finished Fullmetal Alchemist yet, but it's really good! My anime taste is pretty boring, since I haven't really watched all that much anime (I only got back into it last summer).

Also, maybe it's just me, but I absolutely hate watching moe anime. It just bothers me so much. I haven't really watched a lot of popular anime just because of that, I guess. The only popular ones I've watched are Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Pokemon, but that's only because I grew up with those as a kid. They still make me feel nostalgic, even though I don't keep up with them anymore. I think I cried a little when Naruto ended despite not having watched it since third grade.

    I'm sorry for rambling, haha
Oh, that's really cool! I'm glad there's someone who shares my same taste in anime, haha.

No, unfortunately I've never read nor watched Urasawa's works, though Monster has been on my list to watch for forever. I've just been putting it off because it's so long and I'm weak (not that I don't enjoy longer series, I'm just lazy). But yes, I do love psychological thrillers. Psychological horror is probably my absolute favorite genre of anime/movie.
What are your favorite anime series? Just curious. :)
    *hugsss* Thank you <3

I was both happy and sad to see that thread... it's an important topic and I'm always trying to raise awareness, but at the same time, it's just such an emotional thing for so many people. I want to read through it but I'm kind of afraid, tbh.

(And I never know how to hug in person either, lol, it's usually a bunch of flailing before we figure out whose arms go where)
Almost! Deadline is later today so I just gotta peek it through and correct possible mistakes with listing sources and stuff (they are _very_ hard on this; they can lower you to C even if you text is awesome.. you miss listing a reference correctly and you're down).

Ouch :( *hugs* Hope you can go through it, stay strong! :)

Well yeah my new character is going well, no bugs as of yet with the Oblivion Walker weapons, hope it stays!
No problems ^^ I'm taking film studies, so it's a final exam paper, 3600-4000 words in total. There is for tasks and you need to choose two. On the first atm since they have to be 1800-2000 words each. Hope I can do it 'til next friday

Ah, good luck with yours as well :)

(also found out yesterday that one of my game characters in Skyrim is bugged so I can't get the last achievement, well just gotta do a new one and retrieve it i guess lol)
    I see.

Is good, trying to finish off some stuff on Skyrim, then I should write on my exam stuff

(I kinda am too, but I'm way better writing than i.e talking on the phone)
OMG I knew that voice sounded familiar! I have Tommy february6 hanging out somewhere amongst all my other music and I couldn't place why The Brilliant Green sounded so unbelievably familiar but that answers that question. XD I need to look into the heavenly6 thing though, I didn't know that even existed.

I love Shiina Ringo tbh! I don't have as much of her stuff as I should. I remember when I first discovered her and found one or two songs that were a little bit too weird for me at the time, but everything else I've kept and I love it. ♥♥♥ I just really love distinct unique voices that you can pick out of a crowd. Especially ones that are like, an acquired taste and strike me as being a little "off" at first - I find that if I have that strong of a reaction to them initially, if I give them some time I always end up falling in love 8D
Another TBT-er recently recommended Amy Winehouse to me, and I really love her voice. I'm not sure about some of the subject matter / lyrics, but her voice is really unique and I love that kind of jazzy feel to her music. I went on a spree and found a bunch of collections of old 40s-50s tunes as well, like Jo Stafford and Nat King Cole, so I'm mostly just filling up on oldies right now... I just ended up with a lot more music than anticipated XD

Someone else recommended a few Japanese artists to me as well - Karen, Kimura Kaela, Misono, The Brilliant Green - and I'm trying to get through those before I get to B'z. I haven't listened to enough of them to form an opinion yet though, I keep getting distracted by Spangle Call Lilli Line haha

I don't have much Spanish music in my library but now I have even more artists to hunt down >:3 Thank you! Even if the backlog is huge, I always love finding new people to listen to :)
Hun it's no problem ♥ I don't think it's okay to joke about that, EVER, and it's sparked a lot of conflict between me and old friends. Ultimately for me it's a deal-breaker - if someone jokes about it, they don't respect me or my experiences and they don't need to be part of my life. It's a horrible thing, and it's not funny, period. And when it comes to discussions about it... I don't really want to hear "non-survivor" perspectives. If that person hasn't experienced it, they need to listen to the people who have, imo.

B'z is totally on my list though ☺ I have them waiting in the queue, and all my recently-obtained music is on shuffle, but they just haven't come up yet (granted, I kind of overdid it and ended up with like... 3000 songs over the course of the past week because so much music has been recommended to me recently, haha, so there's a lot of ground to cover) but as soon as they do I'm coming straight to you to talk about it >:3

    Take care ♥♥
bb I just now saw your post in the "how are you feeling" thread and I kind of rambled over there but I wanted to make sure I reach out to you here as well ;_; If you're more comfortable talking by PM about this sort of thing I totally understand. I just want you to know I've been there and I'm always, ALWAYS here if you need to talk about it.
