Dreamies/Favorite Villagers:
- Cherry (Dog, Sisterly): I’ve wanted her since I started playing NH, and luckily, I have her on New Leaf! It’d still be nice to get her on NH, though.
- Flo (Penguin, Sisterly): On my original island in New Horizons, before I reset, Flo was one of my starters, and I fell in love with her unexpectedly. I think I managed to become best friends with her because I got the Confident reaction from her prior to restarting, and I’m excited to get her amiibo card in the mail.
- Bubbles (Hippo, Peppy): I have a similar experience with Bubbles that I do with Flo, in that Bubbles was on my original island and was one of my first villagers, and I also ordered her amiibo card because I want her back!
- Ruby (Rabbit, Peppy): Ruby is my aesthetic (space + bunnies = Vivid loves it instantly), and I was glad that I had her on my original island, and I don’t care that she and Bubbles said the same things because both of them were great!
- Raymond (Cat, Smug): Yes, I’m well aware that he’s almost everyone’s Dreamie, but I like him! Look at his glasses! His eyes! His whole design! Smug villagers are my favorite male villagers, and Raymond is cute, and I just like him!
- Julian (Horse, Smug): I’ve been interested in him for a while, and then I got him in my New Leaf town (along with Cherry), and it confirmed my love for him. Again, I am a sucker for space stuff, so a space horse is great! I hope I can get him on Iyashi!
- Fang (Wolf, Cranky): Is this at least partly because people have compared him to Yuri LeClerc from FE3H? Yes, but also, I love his aesthetic, and I like Cranky villagers well enough (or at least, Angus was cool when he was on my original island), and I just think Fang is neat, and I really want him!
- Flurry (Hamster, Normal):
Me: *goes island hunting for normal villagers on my “cute normal villagers I want” list*
Me: *finds Flurry, who is not on this list*
Me: *listens to Flurry speak*
Me: ...I don’t care that you aren’t Merengue, Tia, or anyone else on my list. I am adopting you, and you are moving to my island because you are sweet and need a friend.
And that’s how Flurry ended up on my new island!
- Merengue (Normal, Rhino): Strawberry! Themed! Villager! So! Cute!
- Tia (Elephant, Normal): Look, she’s really cute, and who doesn’t like a tea themed elephant?!
- Kid Cat (Cat, Jock): Kid Cat is one of the only Jocks I will tolerate (along with Dom and Coach). Admittedly, part of this is because of PlayFrame, but yeah!
- Vivian (Wolf, Snooty): She was on my original island, and she was great! I liked her a lot (not as much as Flo, Bubbles, and Ruby, but still!), and I want her back. Besides, maybe she and Fang would get along.
