  • Just wanna shoot you a message since I just remembered our conversation from a while ago.
Well, I actually have the fever... THE WEIHNACHTSMARKTFEVER! Hell yeah, only one week to go and a lot of them are already starting :)
Are you planning on going to any this year? Any recommendations you can give me?
Hi! Thanks for responding to me! When your available we can try out on private battles and we can determine yes or no. Hope to speak soon!
It has its ups and downs. It can be really fun if students are into it, but frustrating if they're not. I guess I'm kind of a fan? I don't really like playing the main games that much but I love the Pokemon and spinoffs. I've been to about half of the Pokemon centers in Japan. They're pretty fun!
I've been in Japan for about 3 years! I lived in Hawaii before this, so it's been a while since I've really experienced "American" culture, but yeah, it can definitely be different. I much prefer living here than mainland US, tbh. I work as a HS English teacher.
yeah i remember haha. Pokemom Advanced was the last Pokemon series I watched religiously. I did watch a bit of Battle Frontier as well, though. May was in that one right? Funny you say that, cause Makoto Itou is literally one of the most hated anime characters!
It's good, convenient, fun. I mean, I go to work and live my life the same as I did in the US so it doesn't really feel that different than living anywhere else. Just, everyone else speaks a different language haha.
No problem~ I hang around that thread a lot, ahaha. ^^ Honestly I think Freya should overtake Whitney in the tiers because she has a cooler name, but oh well. Tiers aren't actually important. And yes, DEFINITELY a fan of Phoebe especially. What's not to love about a phoenix?
Hi lovely! Yes I remember you well! I'm glad you're enjoying her she is very lovely isn't she? I've been good, I haven't been playing much... I had stresses with school ect. How have you been?
Oh forgot to say, if you're really looking for just doing some city trips. Roermond, located a bit more to the north is a good spot. It's in some ways similar to Maastricht but at least it's less expensive.
Or you can visit the 40k city called Weert were I live ^^ Even more located to the north. Oke, seriously, please don't, there's nothing special here :c
Or maybe just visit some small villages allong the road like Valkenswaard. It's maybe a bit to north but it's an amazing village were you can sightsee a lot of things.
I want to warn you, please not visit Melick or Herkenbosch. The people that still live their from the old days are super cranky and absolutely not friendly and it's literally a drug criminal hole nowadays.
    I hope I helped a bit :D
    You're welcome.
Well, I'm not very known with the southern part of the region I live in, other than being there a few times. But I can tell you that there are a lot of castles in the southern part. Most of these are now functioning as tourist attractions like bowling and food centres though. There is this really cool castleruin called 'Fluweelengrot' in Valkenburg, it's actually pretty interesting to follow a tour trough it.
We also have this thing called ''BloteVoetenPark'' which is basicly having a walk in this big park with all kind of grounds and obstacles without shoes on. I recommend you to not fall in the pond like I did. They've a pretty big one in Brunssum I believe.
Oh and you also have the old coalmine, also located in Valkenburg. You can have a tour trough the caves, though I found it to be not very special. Maybe because those in north-france are way spectacular haha.
Hey! I'm doing well. I am just not as active as before, but I'm happy that a villager I once had is still loved by their adopters. Hehe :)
