Well, I'm in my lower 40s and play New Leaf (and have played all the AC games). My husband also plays and I just bought my seven year old daughter her own copy. It's generational!

I have a bunch of parks, bordered by bushes. They contain various PWPs that I decided go together. I'm still trying to figure out what to do about flowers though. I've also got a couple areas of "forest" where the trees are growing pretty close together. No pics to share, unfortunately...

Thanks! I'm considering making my plaza match my paths. That's a bit annoying but tolerable.

1) The clothing items are different for me every day. I assumed they were random. 2) Yes, you can't grow perfect fruit that is not your native fruit.

Can I piggyback a related question on here? I've noticed some people not laying down patterns where the tents and Gracie and the like spawn when I've dream-visited them. Is there EVER a case where these patterns block spawning or are removed?

I wish I could remember my source, but I have it in my notes as being 3x3 and that's what I've blocked out for it. I guess it'll still fit if it's 2x3.

I often have the problem where I see a butterfly or dragonfly and briefly think I should grab my net.

I can buy the bamboo shoots now but am trying to decide where to place a little park with them. I can't make up my mind either. My understanding is that they won't grow out of control if you just surround them with a placed path.

Two questions about grass regrowth: 1) Does the Beautiful Town ordinance have any effect on the rate of grass regrowth. 2) Is there any way to tell what is a permanent dirt patch vs. a spot that could regrow?
