  • I am also dragging on my facilities. I always wonder if there is an "optimal" order for them. Like, should I do the restaurant first so more tables are unlocked for the department store restaurant, etc etc. Right now I'm designing a restaurant for Canberra (my girl!) so yes, repetitious design demands are thing I can relate to.

Also I am with you on ACNL. Personally, I flat out don't think it was quite as good as previous AC titles. The most fun I had in the game was probably that first summer of its release, and much of that fun was owed to forum shenanigans here. I still love the game, but I'm eager to see the next installment and its improvements. Meanwhile, I anticipate Fallout 4, which will probably be my last gaming hurrah before returning to school Winter 2016!
The exteriors are amazing, yes! I just got around to taking on the second wave of town construction projects and man I am so miffed that we can't put 2 x 1 fish tanks on tables. I was totally gonna make an awesome seafood restaurant with aquarium dividers. Now I'm stuck! How have your facilities been coming along? Also: this game makes me want to pick ACNL back up but I know I've been too spoiled by HHD's improvements to really get into it again. And I bet Rodney has moved.
Yes! I love coming across new furniture when I take on a client for the day, especially all of the cute new foods and little dishes, etc. And ceiling fixtures, OMG! My primary use of the Famitsu guide has been to check out the list of street lamps and who unlocks those. I NEED THEM ASAP! Everything else- surprise me, game. Anyway, glad to know you're addicted to HHD too- it sounds like it snuck up on you, like it did me. Take care!
Hey gurllll! Nice to see you (and nice to know that I'm still on your friends list after all this time!) Yeah. ACHHD scratched an itch I did not know I had, and I am in too deep. Just nabbed the Famitsu guide today. Hope you're doing well!
Dunclair is almost ready for visitors- just trying to have a full town first. I was so happy to see Shep in my campsite this morning! He's moving in, replacing Tex who hitched a ride yesterday. Hope all's well with you!
School's out in August, when I graduate! Only my AA, but it's the first step, so I'm looking forward to it.

You know, the New Leaf magic isn't complete without experiencing the agony of a random, shockingly ugly villager insensitively dropping their house in a horrendously awkward location. Enter Diva, to make sure that my mayor is not deprived of this experience. I was swearing at my DS, and letting out peals of ugly bitter laughter when I saw this...

And to think that I admired Diva's unapologetically retro frosted mauve lipgloss. Such betrayal.
Sorry for the late reply: I had a horrible bout of morning sickness. But I'm in the second trimester now and feeling human :) I've decided to not really play my Japanese cart, as thinking in Japanese takes just too much mental energy- But I'll have the cart for holidays and DLC and such. Anyway. I started up a new American cart yesterday- The town's name is Redwood. I *think* I've got you registered on my gameboy, but I'll check later tonight. Hope you survived the winter weather- happy Spring!
I bought an additional cartridge so I wouldn't have to give up Tam Tam- so our favorite pudgy swinger is still safe and sound. I can hear your sigh of relief aaaaallllllllll the way over here in Seattle.

My new town is called Dunclair, and Hirisa moved over there to take on mayoral duties. Drago lives there too, so we even have our own village legend, the Dragon of Dunclair. It is SO strange to be in a new town again, but also cool. :)
I'm rolling a new town...rather, I've been rolling a new town. For two days. PICKY PICKY. Hope you're well, "hun," heh.
