    I say go for it, if you feel like it. Play by your own preferences and take purist preaching with a grain of salt. EDIT: I'd also read up on a few guides just to play it safe. I recommend enacting Beautiful Town and keeping an eye on your villagers, as lexy_ said.

    Best: I found Julian in my campsite back when he was worth an insanely high amount of bells. (Much more than he is now.) Worst: He grew on me and I accepted him as a perma-villager. (No Profit) Best2: His plot was placed in a really convenient spot.
