I noticed about forum currency though, they can be used to buy collectibles on the forums, goods in animal crossing or even Pokemon, OR you can exchange them with other forum members for in-game bells on ACNL, the rates these days are hella funky, I think it's 100 forum bells for 20 Million in-game bells? Something like that.

However it has other uses, some people (like myself included) have an interest in trading them for rare collectibles or artwork (some people do art commissions around here!) and possibly more things to do with them.
