I’m playing it on one of my islands. It’s fun but it’s not that hard. But then I don’t tt, go to treasure islands and I like to get villager photos.

Two years I think is okay. I do tend to agree that the the updates didn’t really feel like updates per se but simply adding in things that should have been there to begin with.

Every year I sit with my towns and bring in the new year. We don’t go out for new year as I’m disabled. im also not a huge fan of new year so I like that AC has a celebration. last year for New year, two friends came to my town at midnight and that was fun!

I miss villagers leaving of their own free will. And I say that as someone who plays all the AC games so it’s not rose tinted glasses. I prefer it because I like knowing my villagers have agency and I don’t want to be their overlord. I do understand not wanting to come back after six months away...

I think you need to wait till you get 3*. As that’s when you get Kappn and everything else. My second island is 8 days old and I don’t have access to the dlc or any of 5r above.

Hide and seek isn’t in NH. There is a game where you find an item they will hide. Personally I prefer villagers from the older games. I liked that my villagers didn’t immediately think I was amazing. Although this problem didn’t begin in NH, for me it began in NL but I think NH has it worse...
