  • Same here! Social anxiety has always been my weakness. I can text thoroughly but when it comes to talking in person I feel more comfortable just crawling back into my shell (◎_◎;)
I've been ok, had kind of a crazy weekend, had to take a day off work and then had a lot of stuff to do today before work so even though it's my friday I didn't really get any sleep, and it doesn't feel like friday. But i'm excited for the fair and am using my extra time tonight for planning some stuff for the events!
Well said, at the same time it helps those with social anxiety to open up to someone one way or another.
I guess it being one of the good things that can come out of it all.
Ahh, looking at the site now I see why - probably being worked on for the fair lol
And actually same here. I rarely use social media unless I'm staying connected with family.
Thanks! I just made a tumblr and Instagram for the book art. It's not much but it's a start enough to give links out: myprivatespaceofficial for both c:

And this weekend I'm catching up on requests lol, you?

    Oh okay, sorry heh ^^
And almost, I'll be making a couple accounts for my art as well as for the books.
I can only post art associated with the books, whereas things strictly under my name
aren't secure enough to be shared with the general public, but very close (I'm weird with that stuff sorry)
But til then, I may run a thread on here (avi's, etc) to promote it when I'm less busy lol
Yo! That's definitely a matter of opinion, but starting small seems like a good way to maximize success and figure out what works. I would jump to recommending certain plants, but your climate will affect what's easier or harder to grow. See if you can find some other gardeners in your area, or look up your favourite herbs and small veg and tips for growing in your area. I am imagining that you get more sun, which has got to be some sort of advantage? I've also found a lot of inspiration in a couple books about maximizing the space that's available, whether that's a balcony, windowsill or fire escape. And recycling containers to use for plants. I've kept a pot of chives alive sice last December through what seemed like unlikely and occasionally hostile circumstances (forgetting to water them). I've also had a pet spider plant and jade plant for several years, neither of which are edible, but they are practically indestructible.
Well I've done 3 children's books so far with no stopping anytime soon. For the shirts, we're in the process of doing so. I'm sending 3+ designs (the kids' books characters) for the shirts in to be mass made for the book fair to sell.
    Lol pretty much the same.
I have deadlines for my drawings to be sent out to be made into t-shirts,
then an activity book for kids right after, then getting my portfolio together for the trip at the end of the month.
Probably won't get back much into it until after I get back lol
