lol yeah this forum is pretty active compared to a lot of others I go to. Though I've seen a topic get over 15 pages in one day once! And on a forum where there's more posts per page! xD

I think I might do that on occasion! xD It's not something I think about doing so when I do it's probably because of the really fast way I talk.

But you're so right. I read ACC for about a week and I was completely baffled at how misinformed they are about the concept of 'nice'. I have half a desire to go in there and troll them but I figure I'd be banned within a day by their 'fair and just' moderators. xD

My family was poor, so we only bought books when the school made us buy them, or the few times when my school required us to read any kind of thing at home. I had very few actual novel-type books growing up. I've read the entire Harry Potter series as well as a series called the Seventh Tower.

I really want to read the Deltora books. My boyfriend told me about them and they sound great. :3 We've watched quite a bit of the Anime adaptation.

Yes. I love Adventure Time. Despite the Prince Gumball icon, my favorite character is actually a toss up between The Ice King and Finn.

:3 Hopefully I can finish it in a year or so and try and get it published so you can! I'd share bits and pieces now, but I'm very attached to the world and characters and don't 100% know if things will be tweaked and changed... I have this issue with sharing what could be an inaccurate product. xD It's really nice though. There's elemental magic that only a small percentage of the world can use, witches, and creatures like sirens and dragons!

My boyfriend and I plan to construct a direct sequel to it as well, but we haven't gotten started on it yet. We're still rolling ideas around.

As for that other guy, 400 pages is a lot! But it doesn't mean much if you don't have realistic, well-written characters and a cohesive, well thought out plot! How ridiculous are the names? Does it sound like he's just made them up? >> That is never good for a story. I mean, my novel I'm writing hasn't reached near 200 pages yet, but I still think it's really good. :3 So does my grandmother, and she can never read anything for more than 3 pages. All the names my boyfriend and I have for our characters are actual names or thematic words that fit the character.

Aw, that stinks! I think you can send letters to your neighbors with presents, and they'll send you a letter back with a different fruit. At least, thats how I've been getting pears in my Wild World town when the native fruit is cherries!

I would love to play, but unfortunately my City Folk disc got scratched, so it'll randomly crash on me when I walk into houses or buildings, and I just haven't gotten around to getting a new disc because, well, New Leaf is coming out and it'll take up all my time. xD
