I always use Save & Continue and I haven't had any crashes. I only save and exit when I'm done for the day. I don't know if the "Save Queue" is being cleared whenever I save elsewhere, like CT for example, or if I'm not doing enough to overload the game.

I noticed, if I go to the home menu for a moment, while I'm playing NL and go back to NL, it sometimes will freeze for a few seconds when I go back into NL.

I think I should try to avoid as many loading/saving as possible whenever I play. Wouldn't saving every single time I make any progress also raises the chances of crashing my game? You'll see why I'm staying outside most of the times. Playing on the southern island alone is a bit risky, as I had a crash there, and I'm unable to save there.

According that same Japanese website, Dragon Quest 7 on Nintendo 3DS also had users reported freezing while their characters sleep, save the game and whatnot.

Hopefully your game can hold on for another couple of months, otherwise you may end up losing your entire town if this keeps up. :c
Maybe try to avoid doing anything that may overload the game and requires a lot of saving at once?

Mason on TBT made a Japanese friend on CT that I met. She is saying that the campus items are given out over wifi, so we should be able to get them.

That's crazy! I think it may be the saved data, since not all NL games are like that. It seems to be getting worse too if it's now happening while you're not connected to wifi.

Maybe the 104 letters overloaded it?

It could be a flaw within the game itself and you may have no problems with any other digital Japanese games.

Are you getting an English NL? It may be a good idea to evacuate all of your items over to another NL for backup, when you can, in case your saved data become corrupt.

Whenever it happened in pokemon, we'd be kicked out and sent back to our pokecentres and have to reconnect to wifi so I could see it sending guests back to their towns.

I've had communication errors with pokemon. It does happen sometimes.
I hope my data hasn't become corrupted again.

I got an error screen when it crashed. I was outside when it happened, so it wasn't a combination of both of us exiting buildings at the same time.

I saw you shown as online for a minute or two before it sent you offline on the bf feature. Were you stuck on the black screen for awhile?

6 letters? That's a bummer. I hope it's at least 10 when the game launches in both NA and EU....8 was never really enough. I wouldn't mind having any of those in my town, especially if they greet me when I arrive. Miranda, however...is an exception.

I sort of caved in and started watched LinandKo's AC:NL videos. They contained less spoilers than I thought they would. It's nice to see that items such as the Blue Pikmin Hat and Blue Falcon can now be obtained naturally from Fortune Cookies!

Let me guess, you tried connecting to your dorm's sucky Internet? Haha. But yeah, it's probably better to wait until you go home. Well, wherever you connect to, that game's gonna take a long time to download.
