  • Areas. Everyone hates Blighttown. It's very hard to navigate, but once you're past that, it's not bad. Sen's Fortress made me want to kill myself, but past that, Dark Souls has a more consistent flow of good areas, but Dark Souls 2 has better areas, but Dark Souls 2 has better areas in general, but when an area is bad... oh god, is it bad. Dark Souls is more of a consistent flow of very good areas, just not as good as the ones that are good in Dark Souls 2. For an example, I didn't see the bad in areas that EVERYONE with occasional bad ones. So, I'd say its more of a tie. Enemies and bosses... Dark Souls 2 has a few bosses that are nothing short of badass, but Dark Souls has better ones in general. So... Dark Souls. Anything else you want to know?
Combat. Dark Souls 2, I'd have to say. Sadly, there's less good faith spells, like they took away Darkmoon Blade, HOW DARE THEY. Not too much to say about this, but it just feels smoother. Getting backstabs feels so much more rewarding. On a slightly off-topic note of which is better, the combat in these game is godly. Rolling out of the way of an attack feels amazing, especially if you pull off a backstab. Parrying is amazing in both games, it feels so good to smack that weapon in the face, and do crazy damage. Really, these games have amazing combat...
Storywise... neither. It's more like: Every single item has a history or backstory, which can be seen in their description. Except a few things, like shortswords, but not many of them don't have one. Some things just seem... strange. For an example, Dark Souls, there's a duo boss called Ornstien and Smough. Ornstien is fast and has awesome lightning based attacks. There's no point in talking about Smough, because he's not important right now. As a hidden boss to unlock the Blue Sentinels covenant, there's a boss called the Old Dragonslayer. He looks exactly the same as Ornstien, but his armour is duller. Is that Ornstien? It has no lightning magic, and instead is dark magic. What happened? Was he corrupted? Is that even Ornstien? That's what the story is. Piece together everything, to make your own story.

I haven't finished, I just ran out of characters.
It depends. Demon Souls? I have no idea. Dark Souls 1 and 2 are a hard choice though... Dark Souls 2 is better, but some areas make you want to kill yourself. (Shaded Ruins/Woods, Shaded Ruins and Woods, SHADED RUINS AND SHADED WOODS AAAAAGHHHH) So... it's really up to you. You can be a badass Darkmoon Blade, Darkwraith or Forest people, in Dark Souls (The rest are nowhere near as awesome) Darkmoon Blades are the best, Darkmoon Blade enchanment + High Faith + Falchion = Every PVP battle, you win. Because Darkmoon Blades punish those Darkwraiths for killing everyone with their shiny Darkwraith stuff. Dark Souls 2 has less awesome covenants, but it's good nonetheless. I could talk more about which is better if you want, but it'll take a long time.
Well, if it was the main game, I would cry. Artorias... so hard... Magnus... so hard to get there and fight... Kalameet... dragon.... waaaah....
One more thing... witth his soul, you can make one of two swords. One of them, with the 2-handed strong attack, you do a backflip and slam the sword into the floor. Fabulous. :3
I mean it took me 3-5 weeks worth of attempts. Yeah, you can buy his armour from the man under the bridge. :D
Noooooo please you took me 3-5 weeks to kill, Artorias! Your wolf is so fluffy though. Sif the wolf of cuddles! Waaaaahhh...
