  • The solar panel pwp for Ribbot is a really nice touch. The rubies will be good to add in a splash of colour, since the solar panels are blue and silver too.

I haven't touched acnl in about two weeks. Between work and being distracted by other things, I haven't had time for it. I'll have more time to play next month.
Managing forgiveness in the face of tremendous impotent rage. Too heavy a subject for two people who just met? Lol.
Okay! Checking to see if frobert moving on a patch of clovers was yours so i can replace them x.x
How are the yards coming along? Will Ribbot be getting a certain colour of ores or will he be getting many different kinds?
I like the look of dirt paths, but have never had one. I'm too lazy to try to maintain one. orz

Mazes are so neat, but they take up so much space. It would be cute to see if any villagers would end up lost in it. Having a fountain in the middle would work well, since a pond is not an option.

What about assigning each villager a type of flower or certain colours of flowers. Random example: Muffy with black and purple flowers or white tulips for Flurry. Roses could be good for smug villagers as they mention bringing a rose over when talking about a new villager moving in. Depending on how many flowers/plants are in each villagers' yard, you may maintain perfect town.
Hydrangeas would be really good; then I can make a pattern with them too. I sometimes use bamboo + shrubs to make fences around areas or to line paths.

A hedge maze would be really cool. Are any of the ponds near where the maze would go? Some mazes have a middle part that's more open and one of the ponds could be in the middle?

Fountain in front of the Town Hall is very popular. There's also the option of making a big floral arrangement in front of it.

For villager yards, I try to have the paths laid out in a way that gives them some space beside or behind their houses to make a yard with. Usually I'll place some flowers or trees in them, but if there's enough room for a bigger yard, they could have their own bench or some other pwp.
    Hello! Landscaping time! x3
I don't want my Japanese town to have a theme, but I do want to have lots of colourful villagers. I have paths down and I'm waiting on more villagers to move in before I start changing things around. The lower left area of town is very nice and has a unique feature - the lake makes it narrow a bit and then it widens out at the cliff. I might make that a little sitting or picnic area.

I don't want a nature town! It seems everyone has a nature themed town.

I might make some shrub squares (shrubs in the shape of a square around a flower) to fill some space. If I have enough room, they might be good for lining paths. I have some in my main NA town and it looks nice, but I lacked room for them.

For your town, what kind of landscaping are you thinking of doing?
