    This is my problem too. I think last time I checked the nook mile achievement, he'd been to my island 5 or 6 times, and I've been playing since a few days after launch in March. I always check my beaches for him :cry: Meanwhile my housemate has Gulliver popping up on his island all the time.

    I'm working on my island slowly. Doing it in small chunks helps, I think. I have a few loose ideas of what I want to do, but I don't stick to it religiously.
