I'm totally alright with raising it to 2 or 3mil if that sounds any better!! I wasn't quite sure where it would be priced at for the complexity, so I just tossed out 1mil to start with! :)
I'm probably going to ultimately end up doing Grizzly's house first - I have a really weird thing towards the interior houses that look like outdoors? So I want to give him something a little cozier... maybe more log cabin esq??
I usually only ever have 1 character/house, but right now I've got 2 - 2nd characters purpose is purely storage/organization, although I might do something with it at a later date
My biggest issue is the lack of sound effects - The lack of sound while running on custom paths feels a little bit jarring, and I can't really explain why.

Overall, not really. There are definitely some things I miss about my previous primary island (I've reset a couple of times, but i only had one that had tons of progress), such as my catalogue and all my DIYs, but I'm so much happier on my new island. It has everything I wanted and then some.
I had already reset for other reasons before the direct even came out! And I was on the hunt for some very specific things, specific enough that it included mystery island fruit and flowers as well - I was at it for months until I finally got my perfect save file that had everything I wanted...
I was amongst the bunch that had reset (although I'd already gone through with the reset for other reasons before I even saw the direct), so I'm just been working on my island, decorating, terraforming, etc!
Same here, except Night Owl, due to my current work schedule and play time!
After that, probably visit Brewster, maybe visit a kapp'n island or two, and then get to work on the DLC! I've got it pre-ordered already! I never got to play Happy Home Designer, so I'm super pumped about this being a...
