Can anybody actually explain the mechanics behind which have lights and which don't? I remember trying to relocate some hardwood trees of different shades of orange/red, and they weren't always the same shade when I replanted them. In fact, I think any tree was always the same color when planted...

Oh, that's wild! I've never heard of that happening. I guess I can kind of see it as part of Redd's character - he is a con artist after all. Maybe there's a low chance of this occurring and you've had bad luck? Or maybe it is a weird new bug? I'd just pretend I got scammed, personally. Haha.

There's more than one fake version to some of the artworks, and they can be pretty tricky. Were they different fake versions? Like, you bought a Beautiful Statue with no necklace, but one with a necklace came in the mail? Or was it a different type of fake?

I hoard materials, I think because I hate collecting them in the first place. I'd rather have a huge wood/stone/etc. stockpile ready and waiting when I get a whim to redecorate than have to set out grinding. I usually keep a stack or two of seasonal materials too, just because I might want new...

I usually prefer to use an umbrella and pop on some boots with more 'normal' clothes. But I also have a rain-gear outfit on my wand, in case I'm doing things that require tools, or the rain is light/fleeting (or I'm too lazy to actually change outfits for real, lol).
