It's not just a bunch of of cells. Once fertilized it becomes life, because from that moment on it gets a future to be born, grow up, etc.
Just because it's not called "human" doesn't mean it isn't. You say potential in caps, while the chances of a miscarriage for you are probably less than 15%. Just because something has 15 percent chance to die doesn't mean it's ok to kill it.
Imagine your parents told you the following "You know, you really are lucky to be alive. You should be grateful to us that for you we made an exception and thats why you are alive today."
