    I'm not a fan of gory anime but I do love the thrill it gives you.. (Just not a fan of the stabbing eyeballs and sewn lips)

    I see that in so many anime though!
    Some torture scenes involve the eye, and I get so squeamish.
    In Tokyo ghoul there's a scene with a centipede going in Kaneki's ear.
    I was about to barf.

    Mirrai Nikki was kind of unsettling for me.. There was a part I believe where a girl got her eye taken out.. I can deal with gore as long as it doesn't have to do with any part of the face.

    The manga is like 10x more gory than the anime.
    The anime has so much censorship, it's not even funny. Although the animation in the anime is quite amazing, one of the best in my opinion.

    Tokyo ghoul is great! I reccomend the manga too though, it's 10x better than the anime.
