Oh my gosh! I am so very sorry this happened to you, but I'm so glad you and your family are okay! If you really miss your towns that much and you can afford it, I would say go ahead and buy it. If not, I would probably wait for the switch. See if you can find things second hand at a video game...

I don't mind regionally exclusive items, as long as you are able to trade them. I think it encourages fans around the world to interact with each other, which is really neat. But it is kind of hard to do that if you don't have a message board like TBT or something.

TBT. I can control how much TBT I make in a day. At work, I'm salaried, so there's no chance of going over or under a set amount. I mean, it's nice, but I do have to actually WORK for it. It's easier on TBT because it doesn't feel like work, even though you do have to accomplish tasks to get bells.

I never finished Dark Moon (I lost the cartridge), but it was one of the only non Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons or Animal Crossing games I played on it with any regularity. It was spooky, but still funny. I'm definitely looking forward to getting this at the end of the month. Or maybe early next...

I personally wouldn't do it. I think it's still funny, and if everyone around here still knows you under this username, it could get confusing. But if you aren't happy with it, go ahead. It's really up to you, not us.

I've said this 1000 times, but we deserve bats! On a personal note, I would also like possums, but I don't think they're prevalent in Japan so we wouldn't get them. The idea of shark villagers is really cute tho.
