But there might be a spinoff. During season 3, a new female character was supposed to be introduced that would star in her own spinoff series, "Prison Break: Cherry Hill". Unfortunately, the writer's strike killed that, but the creators said that there's still a possibility.

I haven't watched Prison Break in a long time! I used to love it and watch it all the time, but then I just kinda forgot about it. So then, I wanted to start watching it again, but I had missed so much of it that I couldnt really start watching again. xP

It wasn't canceled... The series is just over. The concluded it very well.

But hopefully we'll see that spinoff that was planned sometime in the future...

And I've heard from various sources that there will be a straight-to-DVD Prison Break "movie" with the last two episodes from the series, after the just-aired episode 22 of season 4. I doubt it will happen, though. That ending was too solid...

Apparently it IS true, and we don't have to wait for a DVD! Apparently episodes 23 and 24 are supposed to air next week!! They tell what happened during the four years that were skipped at the end of episode 22. And there's a rumor that Sara goes to prison...=O

EDIT: I guess it's not airing on FOX, but Sky1 instead, whatever that is. I guess I won't be able to watch it... :'( But here's what they say:

Sky1 has secured the world premiere of two special Prison Break episodes billed as a movie.

The channel will air the two-hour series finale on Tuesday, May 19, during which a major character is said to be killed off. The final scenes will flash forward four years into the future, revealing which character meets their maker.

The following week, Sky1 will air the exclusive world premiere of another two-hour special, Prison Break: The Final Break, which will fill in the gap between the present day and the four-year flash forward.

The series finale of Prison Break airs on Sky1 on Tuesday, May 19 at 10pm. Prison Break: The Final Break can be seen on Sky1 on Wednesday, May 27 at 10pm.
